   What am absolute gem! The salon, staff, welcoming modern interior design and ethics with embedded personable professionals; here they know their hair! From Colours, shampooing to trimming and cutting my hair today what an amazing experience. A previous (free) colour consultation and advice, led to today and definitely the future (I’ve already booked!) . Thank-you To Sue and Martin and ALL at the “wonderful hair shop” enough said in the name! All have worked there for their careers which is remarkable and outstanding! Special Thank-you, to Alisha her inherent knowledge of colour and understanding of hair types can’t be beaten and Sue for her trimming cutting, styling, blow drying and ironing with the infamous GHDs.    I have been a customer at this salon for around 3 years now and have always been very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and quality of service here. My daughter has also been a loyal customer for the same amount of time but wasn’t happy with the results of her last visit which was a first, but when she called to cancel her upcoming appointment with the same stylist and tried to explain why she wanted to cancel the person she spoke with just brushed the whole thing off and didn’t even ask if there was an opportunity to rectify the problem. To be frank she couldn’t have cared less no apology, nothing. I just found that unjust and disappointing and not what I’d expected at all considering the reputation this salon has.Therefore we will not be returning in the future.

   My wife goes to the Wonderful Hair Shop quite often so today I decided I would try it especially as she said she would pay for me as part of my upcoming birthday present. The shop is excellent being light and airy and the staff very welcoming. Had a shampoo before Kath cut my hair. She asked what I wanted and most importantly listened to what I said and then proceeded to apply her expertise. The result? The best hair cut I have ever had. My wife was there too and had a perm which she is delighted with. Have to say that I will return as I am so pleased to finally find someone who can achieve great results. No question: FIVE stars.
