I,m 56 and have been getting haircuts for a while now,but these guys are actuslly really really good and do exactly as you ask at a good price too
I had a very disappointing experience today. Usually I visit during weekends but today I visited the barber shop and found a new barber who had difficulty understanding and speaking English. Despite three attempts to fix my haircut, it was ruined. I had to go to another barber to fix it afterward, which was a waste of both time and money. To make matters worse, after I paid for the service, the barber became abusive, using offensive language and making threatening remarks. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in any customer-focused business. I would have reported the incident to the police, but I had to leave quickly to return to work. I sincerely hope the shop addresses this situation and ensures better service and professionalism moving forward. Edited based on owner's response on 20/04/2025. When I got up from the chair, I checked my haircut and noticed the same issue that I had already pointed out three times during the haircut. At the counter, I was explaining what was wrong with it. Rather than linking it with the money, I would appreciate it if you addressed the issue directly. £15 is not a fortune — it's the standard minimum charge for a haircut in the UK — but the quality should still meet expectations.
Hair cut was good and service is polite, not the first time we have been here. The cut was for a 9 year old and he asked if he could have coloured hair spray. He has this at many of the barbers locally one in Havant and another in Waterloovile who all include this in the price for a kids haircut. However, I was charged an extra £5 for this spray at Smart Cut Barbers today. I feel this is very excessive. I could buy 2 or 3 of these spray tins for this price and do it myself. If they had charged an extra £1 I probably would not have minded but £5 is really over the top! We won't be returning at this cost unfortunately.
Excellent service and haircut from this shop. No long ques and very friendly staff/atmosphere. This Was my first time going there but will be going back and highly recommend to anyone

I went here for the first time this evening and the service was excellent. The barber took his time, was polite, professional and did a great job with my haircut. I found he listening to what I was looking for, gave good advice, was friendly and went the extra mile by even stayed a little late to get it all finished off. Would highly recommend. Thank you.
We took our 3 year old son in this morning to have his haircut. The barber was amazing in engaging with him, putting him at ease and did a fab job on his hair. Honestly, he was brilliant and made us feel very comfortable.
I took my toddler son here and the barber was really good with him. He listened to what I wanted and the finished hair cut I was really pleased with. I will be returning and would recommend.
