   I always thought that going to the barber meant pretending- pretending that you liked the cut when it was time to the grand reveal, pretending that you liked football, pretending that you would love a beer at 11am but you’ve already had way too many. Ardy does things differently to any barber I’ve visited- he actually looks at your hair (and more importantly my quadruple crown) before committing to anything, you don’t have to talk about football and he offers you not a single beer. Just pure haircut skills on full show and a thoroughly good conversation if you fancy it. No wonder everyone is calling him “the Saviour of Barbering”

   Best Barber in Chichester! These guys are brilliant. Friendly, experienced and reasonably priced haircuts. Frankie is always brilliant and delivers an impeccable cut every time. Highly recommend these chaps over any of the generic walk-in barbershops around town where you’re never sure what you’ll end up with until it’s too late.

   I was on the hunt for a proper barber, someone who actually knows their stuff. After searching around and contemplating a trip up to London or Guildford, I came across the website and reviews for Ardy's. Seeing as I spend a lot of time in Chichester, I thought I'd give it a go. I've just had my second cut from Russ, having chanced it the first time and him being able to squeeze me in an unexpected 20 minute gap. After telling him the sort of thing I was after and the fact that I really wanted a low maintenance style, he suggested a totally different cut for me, told me that this wasn't the finished article, but that I'd have to grow some more length and then he would be able to cut it into a better shape. So, 8 weeks after that initial cut, I have just been back, with longer hair than I've had in a couple of decades and he's cut it into shape. I was already getting some nice compliments for the style beforehand, but I'm really pleased with it now. And he's right, it is mercifully low maintenance! Nice bunch of guys. No fuss, no frills. Good chat and good music. I'm intrigued by the pull up bar, but that's a chat for next time. A very happy, new and loyal customer. I'm really pleased to have found them!

   Absolutely fantastic barbershop. As far as I’m concerned, Ardy’s is the template for what a barbershop should be like: great welcome, great atmosphere, a fabulous cut (from Jack, in this case), great chat and some fab background music which you get access to via the shop’s website. Also, the decor - no frills, spacious and comfortable. I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough and I’ll definitely be back. I don’t say that lightly, either, as I live 30 miles away in Brighton. Absolutely fantastic experience. Loved it.

   Genuinely the best barbers I've ever been to. My hair presents a challenge due to the ridiculous ways in which it grows, which used to lead to a lot of bad hair cuts from lower skilled barbers. I've had my hair cut by both Ardy and Russell. You won't go wrong with either. Russell has recommended products to get my hair healthier and has developed my hairstyle over several cuts to a point where it's now low maintenance and looks exactly how I want it. These guys really know their stuff and how to get your hair to a point you'll be more than happy with it.

   Russell is a magician and has transformed my hair over a number visits. I’ve always struggled with my hair and never found a style that really worked for me but Russell has guided me through and suggested based on his experience and I am so happy with my hair now. Music is always awesome, a friendly and fun environment and just great guys. Couldn’t recommend higher

   Easily the best cuts in Chi, Jack and Russell have been cutting my hair since early last year, and I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed. Everything from the cuts to the music to general feel good vibe of being in the store. 10/10 from me.
