   Considering the other 5 star reviews I thought this would be my go to salon in my local area but I was wrong. AVOID! I went for a consultation appointment. The stylist spent 15 minutes slamming the condition of my hair and how it looked, they got another stylist to come over and yet I received more unhelpful and insulting comments. Booked in for what they recommended, wasn’t told in advance that a deposit would be necessary upon booking an appointment. Clearly they have too many cancellations so require deposit in advance. Moreover, for the price they quoted me £360! I could have had a few nights in Spain for that price. Was not impressed with the unprofessionalism of being told they don’t know what to do with my hair, they also stated they had recently had unhappy customers with the results of their hair… this didn’t fill me with confidence. Left the consultation feeling very deflated and dampened confidence on appearance of my hair. I had only just got to my car when the appointment was cancelled, ‘they didn’t want to take the risk of colouring it, and having an unhappy client.’ I didn’t think blonde and brown highlights, was asking for a whole hair transformation, I just wanted some highlights to blend it all in from a previous box dye. THANK GOD I WENT TO ANOTHER SALON and I am beyond happy with the results. Much more friendly, experienced, reasonably priced. Exactly what I wanted and confidence restored. Unfortunately K and H didn’t have the knowledge or experience to help me with my hair. Overall impression was extortionate prices, snobby and only wanted to do your hair if you were of a certain clientele. Nor were they very kind or professional during my consultation. Wouldn’t recommend which is a shame.

   Made a last minute appointment for a balayage and cut for the first time at this salon after my usual hairdresser had left the Island. I was so very lucky to have been booked in with Annabel who was not only a very talented hairdresser but also the most loveliest person!! I felt at ease within 10 seconds of meeting her and for the very first time she sorted my barnet out exactly as I had asked for and went above and beyond! Thank you so much Annabel, I am definitely coming back!

   I booked K&H Hair and Beauty for my wedding. They listened to my ideas and were so lovely and easy to work with. They were very professional but really made me feel relaxed. Hair & makeup was fantastic, stayed in place all day & well into the early hours, with no touch ups needed. Made me feel amazing on our wonderful day. Can’t recommend them enough!

   Just WOW! I’ve been going to K&H on and off for a couple of years and today I saw James…. He is incredible. Took care over my hair, did exactly what I envisioned despite it being a challenge with my initially dark hair. I love it. He’s a real asset to the team and I can’t wait to come back soon and book in with him.

   Went to the salon for the first time today, had a lovely girl Lydia cut and blow dry my hair. I’m on holiday which is more the pity, because I’d love to live local so I could make this my new hairdressers! Thank you so much for a great cut, I’ll be back the next time I visit. Would also like to thank the other staff I spoke to, generally a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend this hairdressers.
