   My son had a hair cut at another establishment and to be honest it looked absolutely awful! Time was getting on and we were frantically trying to find a barbers open to try and fix my sons hair as we were off on holiday the next day. We made a call to The Library and spoke to a friendly man called Gareth who told us to come straight down and see what they can do. The moment my son and partner arrived; they were made to feel so welcome and Gareth got to work straight away. After about 15 minutes; my son's hair was transformed and looks so much better. Gareth was great, very friendly and kept making conversation with my son which not a lot of barbers tend to do. Highly recommended and could not thank them enough for helping us at such short notice.

   Got my haircut there 4 weeks ago. The people there are nice i will give them that. But the cut i got was poor, especially for £20. My fringe was cut way shorter then i asked for, I asked for 1/2 cm and ended up getting about 2cm cut. I've now been told that whoever cut it used thinning scissors way too much of which makes sense given how it now sits.

   Have been visiting this barbers for a long time now, great staff who are always friendly, and also fairly funny at times. (at times). My review follows an updated look in "The Library", it has had a fresher, modern industrial look incorporated within the space but also holding onto touches of its old vintage theme. Would recommend this barbers as the best within the area for quality of cut, ambience and price. It's also a good spot for blokes with beards, they know how to care for you and your loved one. Booking is essential with appointments able to be made via phone and most forms of social media! Usually booked 3-4 weeks ahead, so bear this in mind.

   Having tried and tested many different barbers and salons in the Portsmouth and Southsea area I found this place. The lads are easy going, professional and current in knowing the most trendy haircuts / styles. The place has just been renovated too so it's clean and relevant. A last word and point to note, they're seriously popular and busy here and bookings are essential. If you can't get hold of then on the phone send an email they've always gotten back to me. A haircut should cost £20 which is fair for the results.
