Katie it's lovely and always does an amazing job. I've never had much luck with hair dressers or barbers before her. When I first got it cut short, I had no idea how to style my hair or what products to use and Katie happily took the extra time to explain. As someone who has ADHD and anxiety, I can get overwhelmed easily but have never had a problem there. It's calm, clean and have good prices.
Been getting my hair cut with these guys forever now, still won't cheat on them with anyone else regardless of how desperately I need a haircut. Not only are the cuts 10/10 but both Katie and Kiam are 10/10 people. They work hard for their own business and deserve the support of their customers. Disappointing to see some people review a business like this and then caveat it with a negative about irrelevant things. Anyone that goes here for the first time you won't regret it and it certainly won't be your last. Great cuts, great atmosphere and great service.
Don’t bother coming at all. Booking is meaningless as they still make you wait. Had made a booking and 45 minutes later, still waiting after having already spoken to someone about waiting for ages. Two people had come after me had their haircuts and already left within that 45 minutes. There was at least 20 minutes where no one was there at all, completely empty apart from me sitting waiting and the rest sitting about having a chat. Absolute joke, no service at all. Don’t know why they still have awards on their shop window or website, spouting on about multi awards from 8-10 years ago.
Asked me to wait 30 minutes, one hour later and I am still waiting. I had to leave as it was getting to late for me. During that 1 hour, most employees spent atleast 30 minutes just chatting among themselves or on phone. No sense of hospitality or have any value of their word. Used to be my go to barber, not anymore with the bad experience.
The store was empty with only 1 other bloke waiting (who turned up 5 minutes after me) yet he got his trim earlier than me. Was told "be with you in 2 minutes" by a staff member who then spent the next 10 minutes fixing his own hair and going on his phone leaving me thinking am I going to get my hair cut? The conversation with Shelbie who cut my hair (15 minutes after my appointment time) was 0 as the staff are more interested in talking to each other than their clients. Overall a fine haircut but no atmosphere and staff who come across as unfriendly. Would not recommend (how is it award winning?) and won't be going back again. Also there is no mention online that it is cash only so that took another 20 minutes of my day running to a cash point. Only giving it 2* because the haircut was acceptable but not £15 acceptable (with a student discount).
Katie went above and beyond to stay late to cut my hair and executed the cut and beard trim to perfection never had a cut like it before have booked in for the rest of next year
Great atmosphere in the shop and great haircuts. Was greeted with a drink and a ps4 controller while I was waiting. Katie does my hair - she is amazing. Great conversation, skinfades, beard trim and eyebrow waxing! Simply the best in the business!
