   I was nervous about coming here because of the recent bad reviews but was in a bit of a pinch. but honestly, the only thing I experienced that others have negatively commented on was that the shop is a little dingy. It could do with a good organise and dusting, but it’s acceptably tidy. They’re very friendly and did a fantastic job for me, and the price was considerably cheaper than the place I normally go to on commercial road. £35 for what’s pictured (+builder gel underneath), and I had to have gel removed beforehand. Only took about 45 min, didn’t need an appointment. Give this place a try!

   Worst set of acrylic nail extensions ever in over 20+ years. I don’t like to leave businesses negative reviews but I don’t want anyone else to waste their money. I have had nail extensions for years and recently relocated to Southsea. I tried this place and left £40 lighter and with four deeply cut fingers and lumpy acrylics. It also took nearly TWO hours. I woke in the night they were done with painfully throbbing fingers. One cut he made was particularly deep and I ended up with an infection. I actually wonder if he is even qualified. I took a photo of the lumpy acrylic but didn’t photo my four cut fingers at the time. Also 1.5 week later, one nail cuticle is attached to the acrylic and is super painful as it grows. The photo doesn’t convey how lumpy the acrylic is but it’s awful. It reminds me of when I tried to do them myself in Covid times. Avoid avoid avoid.

   I'm obsessed with my new nails! The green marble look is super cool, and the ombre effect with the pink base is spot on. The little green sparkles add just the right amount of bling without going overboard. The shape turned out perfect too—sharp and stylish. I've already gotten tons of compliments. Definitely recommend!

   I popped in after work and they saw me within 20 minutes. Lots of gel colours to pick from, I chose pastels for Spring. Both ladies were friendly and very thorough in both removal and re-application. I love the shape and very neatly painted. At one stage both nail technicians were working on my nails - what a treat! £30 in total which is very good.

   £25 for Shellac take off and redo. Staff were rude and spoke amongst them self, ignoring my attempts to engage with them. Rough and rushed with electric filer which was painful. Nails are messy, shellac too close to skin and top coat has bubbled and puckered as they did two coats. Felt that £25 was too expensive for the quality

   It's no longer called Tammy's nails now. I think it's under new ownership. I had a great experience here. The shop was clean and everyone was friendly. They take walk ins so no appointment is needed. My nails look great. One thing to keep in mind is that it's cash only and I didn't see a clear price list anywhere (but that might just have been me being stupid). Overall a really good experience, the reviews from 3 years ago do not reflect the salon as it is now.
