This is one of our favourites. We often pop in for a coffee when doing our local shop. The staff are always really helpful and the atmosphere is always good. We like to sit outside in the summer.
Fantastic drinks and a cosy atmosphere. Plenty of seating (which is a good thing because it gets very busy) and free WiFi is available. Staff are helpful and friendly but are quite busy serving so many people. There is a wide range of drink options and there is also a variety of home made cake but the options for that would vary from day to day.
After a long Sunday walk, found this gem of a place. The falafel sandwich and orange/lime loaf were fresh and wholesome in a very cozy atmosphere. Definitely a place to visit often.
Had a lovely latte and slice of cake. Lovely seating area and very relaxing. Staff were nice and helpful. Definitely coming back.
Planet Coffee is an absolute gem! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with such a soothing environment that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The calm and friendly vibes of the place are perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee, whether you're catching up with friends or working solo. The staff are warm and welcoming, adding to the overall cozy atmosphere. The coffee is excellent, and they have a great selection of drinks and snacks to choose from. It's the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful and inviting café experience!

When reordering at the counter I had to wait a long time for my order to be taken. Three staff on but obviously they have to prepare orders aswell as taking them. The food and drinks are very nice though!
They have a great selection of teas, coffees & hot chocolate. Nice atmosphere staff are very friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend trying it here
I absolutely love this place. The coffee and food are amazing. The staff are really friendly. The decor and layout makes the place really relaxing. If you're on Newland Ave, you should definitely visit.
Fantastic coffee shop. So much better than Costa and Starbucks. The food is excellent as are the extensive cake selections. My 9 year old adores the hot chocolate. The atmosphere is relaxed and charming. The clientele are a mixture of Hull locals, Uni students and newly arrived and welcome migrants. The staff are welcoming and friendly despite being at times extremely busy. This is one of my favourite spots in Hull.
