Lovely quiet cafe , with low prices. I come regularly and the gentleman behind the counter is always polite and kind. The coffee is always good and the toasties are amazing!
Excellent and peaceful - good place for space and exploration at the same time - beautiful building and cafe
My wife and I had soup of the day which was vegetable. The soup was the worst we have ever had, the traces of any vegetable was minute. Some revolting settlement on the top no idea what it was. It was luke warm and looked like something served at the gulags. This will be our last visit there to eat anything. It's standards have got worse every time we tried it. Don't waste your money there.
A quiet coffee bar, no frills but one of the best value in town
This really is a hidden gem. Visited recently for lunch, which was very nice and very good value, the surrounds are fantastic and the staff were brilliant would definitely visit again when and will be recommending to friends.
I was in the library near Venue Hull Central Library Cafe, and I remember thinking to myself "this looks like a good book, but I would like somewhere to sit and read it whilst eating good cake and drinking even better coffee" and then just as I was about to leave the library I saw Venue Hull Central Library Cafe and I went in and they had cakes and coffee so I bought some of both and I read my book whilst eating good cake and drinking better coffee. It was all absolutely lovely and even though the book was rubbish, I won't knock a star off for that because that wasn't the cafe's fault, that's probably just down to my inability to pick good books.
