Fuming my order has been delivered but I have not received it £40 shop which somebody else has received im I'll in bed and now how to find where my shopping is great thanks tesco
No large Costa cups for over a month, that will make me a non returning customer.
Poor shopping experience, staff are generally unfriendly, stop selling items for no reason, sell mainly chocolate and crisps and have now started closing the store during opening hours to take deliveries. I try to avoid now as not worth the haste. Co-op on same street is generally better.
Reasonably stocked shop. Large turnover of Staff, friendly, who appear nervous of pressing the bell, for assistance, when there is a queue. Just left a second ago, when there was a large queue. There was a young lad behind the counter, doing well, and also one of the long term regular staff who was stocking up the spirits. He knew there was a queue but never bothered to assist. Queues are consistent in this place.
Went to go collect a parcel. Was in line waiting my turn to speak to the shop assistant who I believe is called Dave. He told me to go to the end of the tills and he’ll deal with me when he can. I waited in line like the other customers before me but yet he decided not to serve my needs but of those behind me. If you’re in a hurry and think it’ll be a quick pick up and go, it won’t be. You’ll be waiting for a while. He also grabs your ID out of your hand with dirty looking fingernails. And his tone of voice isn’t very polite either.
Staf to "busy" to serve customers even if they are doing nothing,specially the blonde lady with glasses..quit the job and let other to take it
I've used this store as my local for around 4 years now and up til now it has been brilliant. The staff are friendly and helpful and the store is stocked well and rarely has many gaps on the shelves. My partner recently went in to purchase some small packs of sweets as a rare reward for her daughter during the school holidays only to be told "we don't stock them any more to promote healthy living". I understand the mentality behind this, however completely removing the choice altogether is effectively saying "you can't be trusted to be a responsible parent and make healthy choices for your own child so we've made that choice for you". Completely unacceptable poorly thought out behaviour from a company that should know better. If you want to help people to eat healthier promote healthy eating. Don't act like a dictatorship on what people can and cannot purchase based on your poorly researched decisions. I sincerely hope the reason behind it was misinformation or a misunderstanding and am happy to amend this review if told otherwise, but until then I cannot ever recommend the kind of corporation that finds this behaviour acceptable.
It's very handy being open early and closed late. However it's very frustrating when a queue at the till and assistant is so slow and chats non stop and absolute drivel to each and every customer when it's obvious people are in a hurry this happens every morning without fail. I totally get the be polite and have good customer service but it feels like this particular assistant is gossiping with her neighbour on each transaction. Arghhhhhh I go to a different store now.
Small Tesco, so it's only good for getting odd bits, but this is my local Tesco, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I would avoid the older lady who works in here though, as I have never had any issues with the other staff, but she is always very rude and unhelpful. Would be five stars if it weren't for her attitude.
Certain staff are pleasant and helpful (Dave, Karen and Jo). Always a problem with self service checkout. Car park a nightmare with people parking anywhere and delivery vans blocking spaces. Reasonable choice of stock. Overall a nice place to shop.
