   Good choice and stock levelslevels, although use by dates could be better and untidy in some areas. Lots of parking. It's the staff that let it down, making us feel that we were in the way and interrupting their conversations. Worst is the pharmacy counter. I asked for two packets of paracetamol and the assistant went to sell me one. When I politely asked again for two, I was told they were low in stock (at least 8 packets on the shelf) and I would have one!. I politely declined and left.

   Terrible service from the travel money counter arrived to collect Mauritian money that had been ordered, young girl served my wife on Saturday 20th at 1.15. When we got home she had given us 2200 not 11200 as on the receipt. So wife called and she had a very poor attitude didn’t apologise so we had to drive back and even then she didn’t say sorry you had to come back. She definitely needs to be put on a customer service course, it could have ruined our holiday

   Amazing shop – I always enjoy shopping and charging here. I do have one piece of advice regarding EV charging. For us, the chargers are like a gas station. Sometimes we need to stay a bit longer to charge, especially in the evenings when nothing else is open and there are no other options in the city or surrounding areas. Right now, the world still feels heavily predatory towards EV drivers. We already pay extra taxes just for owning an EV, and charging prices often feel discouraging. To give some perspective: Charging at home costs about ~£0.20 per kWh. A slow public Type 2 (7 kW) charger costs around ~£0.50 per kWh – about the same price as running on diesel, or more. A fast charger costs up to ~£0.90 per kWh. It’s the same electricity, just going through slightly thicker wires, yet the price can be more than four times higher. That kind of extreme profit margin feels unfair, and it risks discouraging people from choosing EVs at all. To put it into perspective: using the same amount of electricity, a 7 kW slow charger takes around 5 hours of parking, while a 20 kW charger delivers it in just 1–2 hours — the difference between waiting half a day and fitting it neatly into a shopping trip. I truly hope the world grows in the right direction – where EV adoption is encouraged, not penalized. Tesco already does a great job supporting customers with charging, and I hope they continue to lead by making it fairer and more accessible for everyone.

   We have used this supermarket for years, normally on our way home to France. Stocking up on tea bags, baked beans and many other items we can not get in France. Unfortunately we are no longer entitled to a Club Card as we have a French address. As the majority of the items that we want are double in price without a Club Card it is no longer cost effective to shop at Tesco. I am sure many other ex pat's have also found the same. Very disappointed. We will now be getting our supplies from Sainsbury's.

   It is usually quite difficult to navigate inside the store because of the many people working there pushing trolley's. Be prepared for the fact that you have to constantly avoid them when you go in.

   My wife is mask exempt but she got a few nasty stares, in Watford that wasn't the case. The customer service guy at 17:55 hrs on the 23/04/2021 was not friendly at all. Apart from that the store is okay if you can stand muzzled sheeples.

   My local tesco and its fab. Great layout (much better than the big one at Bursledon) friendly helpful staff. Have been doing covid measures since the start but recently introduced a simple traffic light system at the doors. Sanitiser stations throughout the store. Always use scan as you shop, quick and simple to use. Christmas has arrived at tesco. Nice to see the tree up and lots of festive food and decs. Also has a costa coffee and Krispy Creme donut shop on site and a tesco pharmacy and vision express opticians. Tesco petrol station on the entrance to carpark with little shop too.. Great local supermarket.
