Decent selection of stuff, but really overpriced. Update for 2025; ever more overpriced. One bar of chocolate will set you back around £4-£4.50. Not high end, but cadburys. In every other store you can expect prices ranging from £1-6 for chocolates varying on brand type. Own brand being lower, luxury being higher. Cadburys around midrange at £3. Co-op outdo themselves with pricing way above average market range. This also extends to every other product in store; from fruit and vegetables to dry products. For instance; casserole mix packets are around 60p to 80p in other stores such as morrisons and ASDA. Co-op blow them out of the water with each mix costing £1.40, almost double that of other stores. Co-op truly are only worth using when buying reduced bakery products.

Normally the weekend Staff are young, polite & helpful... Which is in complete contrast to the week day, middle age Staff that are Grumpy, unhelpful & basically a pain to deal with... Imagine my horror on a Saturday afternoon to go in to find: It's the Grumpy Brigade of the week day workers running the shop...

Usually the service is excellent and would merit a higher star rating... But today a middle aged staff member seemed to be on a 'Checkout' speed trial... Anything was Shaken, then Banged down on the counter... As for any kind of pleasantries, there weren't any... This is a shame as most (all) of the younger staff members are welcoming and polite...

My Wife and I have used this store exclusively since late March 2020 and we are really impressed with the staff who are always friendly, cheerful and very helpful. Outstanding Customer service. We will not go back to using bigger stores.

My favourite co-op and has been for a long time. However recently one staff is letting the whole team down with her constant rudeness. Everytime myself and my mother visit and asks any questions about any products her responses shows that she does not care about customers.

This is a convenient and clean store and I am thankful for having it in our area. I often buy reduced products especially fruit, vegetable, ready-made meals which otherwise would end up being thrown away. I noticed the staff doesn't pay attention to charge the reduced prices when you get to the till, so often I end up paying a full price. Most of the staff is very nice but some act like they are doing you a favour for serving you behind the counter. I think the management needs to invest more in the training of part time and newly employed staff so their attitude towards customers reflect the policy of Coop stores.

Tad more expensive than a big supermarket but you would expect that, it's a small local shop. Dates on goods are longer than most though. Staff friendly and remember you if you go in regular. Great sausage rolls and ring donuts baked in store.
