    M&S Newport, IoW Store is fine & staffed by some very nice people - so why only 3★? The carpark: it makes coming to M&S a chore... it has very old-fashioned narrow high curbed entry and exit lanes, very tight corners & not enough disabled & parent/child spaces. I know there's only a limited area available on site, but a better layout is surely achievable. Also the arrows need repainting.

    The biggest M&S on the island with delicious bakery treats and bigger freezer sections and a perfect array of meats. The car park gives you 1hr free at the machine, you pay for anything extra.

    Thanks to an M&S lorry being in the bus stop, a bus was forced to reverse in the loading bay forcing disabled passengers a to make a longer walk. Incredibly inconsiderate.

    Not a good place for a disabled shopper struggling with a leg in plaster. Little help available at self-service checkout. Good range of good quality food isn't enough if customers feel unwelcome.

    Consistently friendly, approachable and helpful staff, food is always good quality and the way the whole store has dealt with restrictions and the pandemic cannot be faulted. We would not have got through lockdowns as easily as we did without them. All staff deserve a big pat on the back!
