Be warned the staff lock up early sometimes so don't expect it to be open as stated. Update yes they close early, a good 30 minutes before closing. 2025 still closing early, 9.30 on a Sunday and the security guard is refusing entry
I am regular customer of tesco express The staff and security man are very polite, generous and helpful.Very friendly environment.The security man always welcome us with the smile and the staff also meet everyone with a smile on their face.
I Bought a dessert here to bring back to the hotel, started eating and it tasted strange… looked at the label and it was 4 days out of date, felt sick after so very disappointed that a Tesco store would sell out of date stock
I am a local resident of over 10 years *Mouldy fruit/veg *ridiculously overpriced *Very rare to see staff behind the till *all the bread is really warm in winter from where they have an air con right above it *the younger members of staff are really helpful, but the elders that have worked there a while are rude and seem like the last thing they want to do is be there/help you.
Tescos Express Store in South Street Chichester,staff are very friendly and helpful too.its more of a convenient store,it's perfect for lunches to purchase,or maybe pick up dinner,milk,tea, coffee etc

Dreadful place. Awful layout, fresh produce is often out of date, poor selection of the rest of stuff at high prices. And what the hell is wrong with those self service tills? Stood there pressing the pay button and nothing happening. Yeah, i'll just leave it.
Tried going at 6 AM all but one of the shoppers seen was wearing a mask, not so the staff at least ten of those restocking the shelves was unmasked. They did not consider keeping a distance from us.
