Very rarely a pleasant experience in this shop. Never enough staff working, often waiting for a member of staff to serve at the tills. Always more than 1 of the self service tills are out of action and almost always unable to provide a receipt. When they are in use, you are waiting too long for a member of staff to authorise your items (when buying items restricted for 16/18+). Having to wait at the (automatic) shop door for a member of staff to authorise your entry. Store Manager or Head Office if you are reading this...a lot of improvement needed at this shop.

What happened to this place? No fresh fruit, bakery almost empty and "fresh" meat all expiring today. It's so often like this and the only positive thing is the kind, smiling security guy.

Having gone to this store to collect my vinted parcel the young girl assistant at the checkout who I spoke to and asked her politely to give me my parcel ( which had been waiting there for a couple of days ) had then proceeded to tell me that she had to scan in a sack of parcels before handing my parcel !! Unbelievable!! The customer always comes first in any retail enviroment and to be told I had to wait whilst she caught up on a workload makes me think she is either ignorant or stupid or both! Come on my parcel was knocking around for a couple of days it wasnt going to be in that sack of parcels she was intent on scanning before serving me! I tend to think she was just plain ignorant to the customer care ethos in which case this gen z girl needs training in the basics of retail she clearly didnt have a clue! Management take note!

Only wanted one item so wanted to pay with cash. Self service all card only. No staff manning ordinary tills. I waited, looked for staff, there were three young staff members stood by store room all chatting and laughing,saw me and another customer waiting to be served but didn't budge so we both put our items on the counter and walked out. Disgusting, shan't go back. Went to Sainsbury's local instead and got good service.

Terrible store with staff too committed to what each other will be doing after the shifts end. Too many basic customer services errors for my liking but it's on my doorstep so with headphones in I can't hear their gossip

I can't fault the staff or the store layout, but on few occasions, such as today 17th Oct at 10.30am, the shelf that contains sandwichs/ wraps etc was completely empty, I was hoping to buy the meal deal. As I started work at 11.00am. Surely retail employees need to buy lunch before their start time? Its not the first time this has happened. Surely you are pushing trade towards greggs or money allowing waitrose!
