We held a birthday party here, and it was fabulous. We were so very well looked after and accommodated. The bar staff were friendly, and worked hard to make sure no one waited long. Huge thanks for a brilliant night in a fabulous pub! Cheers!

Decent local/estate pub, better now its just changed hands to a good manager. Friendly atmosphere, decent beer, toilets are nice and always smell fresh. Beer garden could do with a face-lift
The Durham Ox is a great unspoilt traditional pub. It serves a nice range of cask conditioned hand-pulled real ale. It's a great pub to go for a cosy chat and a drink. It's also serves good quality pub food with a varied menu. It is deservedly very popular pub.

Land lady is not very good person, not making welcome, if she don't like someone, not rude but let you know that you not welcome here, bad experience, never come back, I'll tell everyone who I know, never go there,
Awesome pub with a fantastic atmosphere, love going whenever I can. Landlady with her husband have a great relationship with the locals and incredibly welcoming to anyone who visits. The beer is great, this pub is an absolute gem. Well done to Kerry and Dave for everything they’ve achieved whilst they’ve been in charge. I would highly recommend that you visit if you are in the area.
