   We visited on Saturday 20th December as group of 4. Happy with the food and the staff were all friendly. Witnessed some issues minor issues but understand that you have only just reopened. We will be visiting again soon and wish you well for the future.

   Visited this week after the place reopened, lovely visit. Food was great and a good menu selection, staff are friendly and the new manager really welcoming. So good we booked for Boxing Day, looking forward to it already.

   Nice old traditional pub. Waiting on renovations to start work. Only really open for beers at this stage. Phone cut off so don't call the number. Will be back for a Guinness soon. Looking forward to the kitchen being up and running in December.

   Went for the first time and wasn't disappointed the food was lovely and served piping hot will go again on a stake night . To add to this review I went to celebrate my daughters birthday a table of eight . Service was poor not knowing what they had on the menu. We ordered food that came out looked good but the steak was over cooked and the dressed crab was not fresh at all have eaten fresh crab two days before so on payment I told the member of staff but she didn't look bothered. And not very good for vegetarians and vegans.

   love it here! delicious food and desserts especially the fish and scampi. the atmosphere is lovely, great service and super with allergies. i would 100% recommend.

   An excellent meal for 6 adults, a child and 2 toddlers. We all enjoyed it. They were very flexible with our order as some of us wanted to deviate from the menu. Also we rang an hour before our booked time and asked if we could come earlier and they were ready for us. We'll be back.

   Havent been for years but had some friends over Sunday so thought would try- rang to see if they could fit 4 of us in and explained we had a dog - yes no problem- so we walked from town centre - maybe a mile plus, only to be turned away by the same girl i spoke to on the phone half an hour earlier! She claimed she never heard me ask about the dog - I have no problem with the policy and the food may well be good but let down by poor staff/communication We had then to walk back into town in rain and hungry….
