Brilliant customer service got confused on a few things asked a few workers and they helped me with everything I needed
Quite a big shop, large variety of goods; But - be wary of REDUCED items - CHECK YOUR TILL RECEIPT. On several occasions now, I noticed that - FOR SOME reason, at the till, the REDUCED item had it's lower price sticker REMOVED and the original price charged. So today I'd had enough and recovered £1.09. note: in other shops the old bar-code is covered by a new price-code. I like Home Bargains - but I'll be using a calculator next time I shop.
Just been in store to purchase some gifts for my nieces birthday. Instead of using a basket I put the items into a party bag which I was also purchasing from the store. I places it on the conveyor belt and was talking to my children. When the items reached the cashier she picked up the whole bag and raised it up high and turned it upside down instead of taking the items out of the bag which I thought was very rude. The way she looked at me too was in a way like she was looking for a reaction but I didn’t respond but just looked at the times and looked back at her to which she did the same. I then asked to get a few pound coins to go with the money box that I purchased as a gift for her. She didn’t even attempt to look and just said “Nagh” no explanation until I asked why? She then said “cos your paying by card”, so I offered to pay in cash instead. She said no we can’t give out that many pound coins (only £6!). She then served me paying by card and when the transaction complete she didn’t even say thank you and was just generally rude about the whole transaction. I wouldn’t usually leave a bad review unless it was deserved. Management please discipline your staff, the cashiers name is Lyne Carol. I wood have given zero stars if I could. I then walked into the pet shop next door and had perfect customer service and help with my request.

Papers/magazines, chocolates and sweets Just to name a few of products on sale. Staff friendly, polite, smart. Great place to shop.
I love this place I am disabled and in a mobility scooter and it has big isles for me to manoeuvre in so so easy and very pleasant stress free shopping happy customer
Sadly only just discovered this store chain. Good prices but don't get carried away as it is easy to not think about the price whilst loading your basket. I also recently bought an item there only to find out same day that wilko was cheaper. Well laid out aisles, helpful staff, no complaints.
For a start AIR CON was heavenly , easy parking , I bought loads of school items , drinks and household cleaning products at a reasonable price . Just a shame its a distance away from me or I would be a more regular customer.
A great little shop but has so much squeezed into it, plenty of variety, from homeware to garden, animal supplies, food section and drinks section and a great confectionery section too, always find what I'm looking for. Went there yesterday looking for a lead for my huawei phone as I've not found it in other shops I've happened to be in as it's only ever iPhone and Samsungs, wasn't hoping for much but to my surprise they sold it in there and super fast charging plugs too, and at great prices, a bargain.
