Food delicious, everything clean and fresh. Staff are so friendly and its good to be able to choose own music, play pool or chill out in front of the fire. Dogs always welcome.

Service, food and atmosphere outstanding, Sarah and the team really know how to provide the very best of customer service. I would and will continue to highly recommend The Ferry to anyone who lives in the area or is visiting Brough as we have never been disappointed. Food is made to your exacting requirements (I know this as my family is the most picky there is) and we are yet to have a request denied. Again, I highly recommend The Ferry. We will return time and time again.

Excellent food, lovely service and good atmosphere! Great attention to detail, as we noticed by the ice cubes on our dog’s water bowl :) We’ll be back surely!

I booked to come in here after a day of walking in the area. Not knowing the area well and being autistic, I was nervous, so I called up to book and ask questions. My mind was immediately put to rest, Rob and the lady (Sorry can't remember your name) were so kind, patient and understanding. They immediately knew where to put me after me explaining my needs. I booked in for 2pm on a Tuesday, explaining I might be a bit early or late depending on walking speed and conditions. Upon arriving early at 1:30pm, I was greeted by Rob, who got me seated in the 'library', a space off to the side, where there's just the one table. He explained how to order and about the food. I ordered cod and chips. The food came quite (but not too) quickly and was fresh. The portion size was generous. The peas weren't overcooked like they are in a lot of places. Chips came a bit lightly done for my liking but I'm sure if I ask them next time, they'll make them crisper. Accessibility: The entrance is level, but the door is heavy due to the buildings age. Some wheelchair users might need to phone the bar and get staff help to open it. The inside itself is indeed wheelchair accessible. I forgot to check on toilets. As stated above, awareness of hidden disabilities seems great and the staff I dealt with were very patient and clear when speaking with me.

Fantastic venue, good is both affordable and not your typical pub microwave grub which is always a plus. Staff are also friendly and welcoming…. Big shout out Tracy with regards the latter comment. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

The most family friendly pub i’ve been to in a long time! The staff are great and always helpful. The food is always delicious and great value for money. The cleanliness and keeping of the pub is up to par and I am still to find a complaint. 10/10 would recommend to anyone dining out in the area!

Lovely meal for the family, well cooked and reasonably priced. Would have been 5 stars but the pub music was quite loud in the dining area, which was annoying when having a family meal.

Just had the Sunday lunch, was genuinely surprised by the quality of the beef and meal in general. Will definitely have this again. On another note this pub a little gem, the landlady has transformed the pub with her constant hard work. The staff are amazing . The pub now hosts a variety of free inclusive events for the community

A wonderful visit as always, the staff at The Ferry are always extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is always great, the food is always cooked lovely and served hot, the pub it’s self is always tidy and clean, and if you ever get chance to go to one of their children’s events, you won’t regret it! Thanks Ferry, well done to you all!
