   Wine tasting with dinner with Marimar Estate Wines. Excellent dinner provided by Lysses Hotel and excellent wines provided by Fareham Wine Cellar (Marimar Estates). US Lady Christina of Marimar was very warm and good presenter. Best 62.50£ I have spent in a long time (on a dinner with wines in any case) All wines were high standard and after the tasting of 5 wines, 4 more were served with dinner and decent amounts as well.. Excellent Pinot Noir. 6* Tempranillo and I ordered some bottles of the Tempranillo to pick up later. I love Pinot Noir but I did not buy any because of 3 reasons 1. I am not good at cooking dishes to go with Pinot Noir! (Game, Duck, Guinea Fowl, Venison etc). I stick with Tempranillo or Cab Sav or Bordeaux as I am happy to cook Beef , Steak, Ham, Lamb or Cheesy Pastas that match better. 2. Pinot Noir of quality are expensive and just above my comfort zone... I am happy to go to approx £36 - £6 a glass! ( above 40£, the ghosts of my Teetotal Methodist Grandparents can be heard tut-tutting in disappointment!). 3. We were served 2 excellent Pinot Noir with the main Course (duck confit) but, on our table at least, there was confusion as to which one was which... I dont think anyone on our table bought any of the Pinot... maybe Dominic can ensure that there is clarity when confusion is possible. Particularly near the end of the event when noise levels are high and people are feeling very merry but inattentive! This is not a complaint as it was an excellent evening, but punters may have bought more without this confusion.

   Fantastic wine and spirit shop, offering many hidden gems and hard to find treasures. Dominic was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Great selection of premium Cuban and non-Cuban cigars available too. Parking available right in front of shop. A little slice of heaven for any epicurean.

   Friendly and knowledgeable staff, made to feel very welcome (despite knowing very little about what I was buying). A great range of wine and spirits. I went with the Portsmouth distillery White and spiced Rum. I left a very happy customer.

   Excellent wine shop ,and a great selection of rare and unusual spirits.the guy that served me was very helpful.i went in for chartreuse verte but they had sold out.he ordered a new batch and I got mine the next day.he recommended a South African chenin blanc ,which I'm sure will be good.

   Just bought a Chateau le Gay, lovely wine. The shop has an excellent selection of fine wines and cigars. The staff are so helpful and knowledgable. The shop caters for all tastes, budgets and occasions. Well worth a visit if you are after that special bottle.
