Had an Mot done today 22nd December at national tyres hull, great service very friendly and not pushy to get extra sales, explained how to get the best deals and experience. Will be back for tyres in jan once Christmas is out the way. Merry Christmas all

We booked our old car in for MOT and full service and were informed after MOT there was significant damage so we could decide not to go through with full service and were refunded this amount. Clive was extremely helpful, open and honest about the situation. We will definitely be bringing our new car back here!
Pre-ordered and booked in to have four tyres replaced. From as soon as I walked through the door to the time Ieft, Clive and the team were efficient, professional and friendly. And so quick; what I thought would take the best part of a morning (replacing 4 22” 4x4 tyres) took about 90 mins. Would highly recommend and will be using again!
I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Clive and his team regarding my recent MOT situation. When I discovered that my MOT had run out, I called Clive, and he reacted very quickly, fitting me in straight away for an inspection. Clive has been fantastic throughout this process. His professionalism and the efficiency of his team truly stood out to me. I am very impressed with the service provided and will definitely recommend them to others.
Great experience. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Had 2 new tyres fitted at reasonable cost, no fuss. There's a nice waiting room or St. Stephen's Shopping Centre is only a 5 minute walk away.
Recently took our car to have tyres changed they told us our car wouldn't pass an mot as disks needed changing on a car that's done only 11,000 miles on 69 plate said that's OK because its mot is due so we will wait and see guess what passed first time and no adviseries just shows there out to rip ppl off
Took my car in for a 4 - wheel alignment & after returning it 3 times due to the steering wheel being miles out I decided to take it elsewhere, after looking at the data sheets the 3 times they performed it they had imputed the incorrect car so the data wasn’t right. I spoke to Luke that assured me he was getting me a refund and it was being processed through the head office & I would receive an email within 5 days, 15 days later and I’m still out of pocket with no email! Do yourself a favour, go elsewhere!
Well I'll not go back. £260. for 2 tyres on my van and I've realised they haven't replaced the valves and haven't balanced them. Not only are they not balanced but they have left the old weights in place so the chances are they are even more out of balance then having no weights at all. On top I asked for my other 2 to be checked for slow punctures but all I got when my key was handed back was "well I couldn't see anything". I had looked at them before I brought it in and couldn't see anything that's why I asked "a tyre place" to check them.
Just had 4 tyres fitted here which cost me nearly 600£ and for my dissapointment all the alloys have visible marks on them related to the tool used to fit the tyres on. It literally looks like the tyre removing tool has been rubbed throughout every single alloy. Upon reporting this to one of the staff members, I been promised a bit of a discount for the "inconvenience" and he acknowledged damage on one alloy, however refurbing the 4 dyamond cut alloys will cost me over 250£ which obviously I will never see and I have not been given anything in writing regarding any sort of "refund" which renders me doubtful I will get to see anything. Yes the guy did have a friendly attitude and seem helpful however no care whatsoever is taken when it comes to the protection of the alloy when the tyre is fitted. Finally, the car does have a white leather interior and there were oil marks all over the seat and the door card but I guess this can be cleaned away unlike the alloys which I will have to live with and stare at the scratches every day I drive my car.If you treat your car as your pride and joy, have your tyres fitted by an alloy refurb specialist. AVOID. EDIT: nearly a month later after the work being carried out and my email as per the suggestion from halfords group is being COMPLETLY IGNORED. No one is replying to my email enquiring regarding the refund I been promised and I am left with 4 alloys which are damaged and I have to repair/refurbish them at my own expense. AVOID LIKE PLAGUE.
I am sorry to hear the negative reviews. As a regular customer, I have never had a complaint about the service, standard of work or the prices they have quoted. The staff have always bent over backward for me and gone the extra mile. I shall be going in there this week for rear discs and brake pads, and I will not bother shopping around.
