Went here for a mini concert featuring the Illuminated Orchestra playing popular movie themes. Highly recommend, and a great place for the performance.

A great Cathedral, a bit different to many of the others we have visited! We was passing by, and thought we would have a quick look... we was welcomed in, and a nice chap even gave us a brief history of the cathedral (including props!) He then gave the kids some sheets so they could hunt round for specific things. You can clearly see from walking round that different parts of the cathedral was built at different times - and it gives it a bit of uniqness as well as being quite intetesting!

Popped into the cathedral this afternoon very briefly with my parents and their dog who were visiting Portsmouth for the first time. We had a very warm welcome from the guide Pamela who was very helpful and quizzed us on what age we thought the cathedral is. What a beautiful building. Lots to see, we will have to return soon when we have more time and the upcoming musical events. Dog friendly too!

Beautiful Cathedral in Portsmouths old town, really worth a visit regardless of any faith (or none). Lovely overview by the very knowledgeable Marjorie helped bring the history to life.

Went to Evensong! Lovely building, friendly welcome as we stepped in, beautiful music by a visiting choir. Had a quick look round after Evensong and saw a couple of lovely tombs, beautiful stained glass, marvelous organ etc! Well worth a visit! Free entry but donations welcome!

The staff couldn't have been more helpful, welcoming and accommodating to my personal interests (particular historical eras). Free roam around the entire building, very quiet and plenty of historical references. I highly suggest visiting if you have even just a short bit of time to spare. Cheap parking metres on nearby roads. 5*!

I have some memories from when my Grandparents lived in Portsmouth, but as they moved away in 2004, I didn't get to go back here for many years, even though I regularly visit the city with my family. Now that I'm studying in Southampton, it's easier for me to travel into Portsmouth on my own, and the cathedral was one of the things that I desperately wanted to do. The outside never disappoints because of its stunning architecture, but the inside is just how I remembered it from when I was a child, and it'll always remain one of my favourite places of worship to visit! Plus I'd love to give a massive thanks to all the volunteers who run the cathedral and keep it in fantastic shape!

We visited during the opening of Cathedrals at night, but we visted before Sunset so sadly did not get to experiance it in full on the outside. Inside spaced out was beautiful coloured lights giving a more relaxed and friendly tone. There was some very interesting parts as we walked around giving the history of sections or items on display. Everyone there was warm and friendly during our short visit. We was asked to fill out a form when we arrived about our visit. I don't mind feedback, but yeh don't unless they have shortened it. It does not display correctly in horizontal orientation and it's question after question. Towards the end I gave up and randomly hit options. Multiple questions could have been merged. The only downside of the visit
