Popped in to view the Christmas decorations, some beautifully decorated trees and a nice location if you also want to combine it with a walk on the South Downs . Deducted a star due to the “ tea room” being a rather depressing experience. The one lady in her own was doing a unenviable job of dishing out to the large queue pre packed sandwiches and coffee but I so miss the days when NT had proper tearooms with crockery and nice cakes please do bring back this NT to your houses it is so missed ! The decor in the tea room was also a bit drab and depressing, probably won’t go again .

Have not been here for years. Restoration has been going on with the servants quarters. No booking needed for seeing house dressed for Christmas. Will go back in spring/summer.

First visit here today. Lovely weather. We found it to be very peaceful as it wasn't busy. The gardens are lovely to walk around and not extensive so you can explore all the garden and do the 0.6 mile walk in an hour. This was perfect for my elderly dog. The tour of the house was really interesting. Our guide was excellent. The cafe is currently closed but there is a cafe van outside the front of the house that does drinks, sandwiches, ice cream and cakes. A wonderful, peaceful day out. As always, the NT staff are very nice.

I have been waiting to visit here for agessssssssss. Now it's open I have finally had a chance. The house is lovely, but it doesn't have much in the way of grounds to wander. Beautiful setting, but not the place if you want a long ramble walk. Will be great once cafe is open !

Uppark is a lovely national trust setting with a beautiful house, nice outdoor space and a lovely cafe and bookshop. It has all the normal facilities national trust venues have and the staff are nice and friendly. We had a great Sunday afternoon outing here in the cold and look forward to coming back in the spring.

Festive Uppark I highly recommend it. Only the downstairs open and kitchens as the family live upstairs. Christmas trees look stunning and the handmade displays are so pretty. Nice cafe lovely walk outside.

The gardens are beautiful and the view around the house is great. Volunteers in each room who are knowledgeable and you exit via the servants level and kitchen and tunnels. The view is amazing and the walks are great but be aware of the changes in elevation.

Lovely midsummer day spent at Uppark. The views out towards the South Coast were stunning. Lots of people enjoying the grounds. A quick look around the house this time as the weather was so nice.

One of my favourite NT houses to visit. I like it as its size is manageable...it still feels like a home. It's also one of the few houses (that I know of) where one can visit the kitchens, which are fascinating here. The view is spectacular, although I found the gardens as nothing much. Despite those small drawbacks still a great experience!
