Good store with good quality fruit and veg. Bakery products are also great and very good value for money. I just think they need a few more staff on checkouts at times! Otherwise this store is well worth a visit
It’s a terrible shame they don’t water the plants that they have outside for sale. I bought lavender plants three days ago and I don’t think any of the plants seen water since they arrived at the Lidl store beside b&q. I mentioned it to a member of staff who just shrugged it off. Lovely plants but suffering from severe drought!!!
Trying to pay for my items this morning Tues 28/1/25 at Lidl, Fiveways, Newry Lady at check out refused to accept 'Lidl Card' along with my payment of goods which I was trying to purchase. I don't have a smart phone, my son made me a printout of the Lidl card. I asked to speak to one of the managers and she said that she was one of the managers. I told her that I had no problem like this before at the other Lidls, they all accepted my card along with the payment. Where do you go from there - shocking and disgraceful!
Rarely more than one checkout open, and takes more than six people in the queue before calling for another till to be opened. The checkouts are also very poorly designed as there is very little space to pack your bag so the cashier has to wait before scanning more items. The staff are always very friendly and polite though and the bakery is great, always fresh. If the car park looks busy I would drive on round the corner to Tesco though.
I enjoy searching in Lidl for new deliveries each Thurs. There is always some useful I find and at a reasonable price too. M B
I wish they had the Lidl treats labelled more clearly in store esp the ones in the freezer area. Also they don't have all the treats advertised.
Cheap, we'll organised & a good fresh bread selection however could do with extra cashiers especially at busy times. Staff are courteous and helpful. Plenty of parking outside.
Nice wee shop wit plenty in it. Could do wit more ppl working on the tills when there's a crowd. Good parkin but can be hard getting out of the car park.
Well stocked store, helpful staff and good value for money. What more could you ask for.
