   It's pretty average, no more. Concessions are standard prices, and screens are nothing special. Very basic seating, even those seats marked as premium. Toilets were a little dirty - cleaning not done much at peak times. Price is on the cheaper end, but you get what you pay for. Better options at Gunwharf or Southampton with a more premium feel and reclining seats, although price is inevitably higher. Port Solent has always had a nice feel, so at least you're close to reasonable amenities before and after the movie.

   Awful experience last Friday evening. We had paid for our tickets in advance and wanted food. We told the chap we wanted pick & mix where he kindly pointed out that was for children. Well aware we explained we may be 30 but we’re still entitled to sweets. He said don’t you want the bags instead we said no the cups of pick and mix and pointed over to it. He said okay grab your box and fill up, we said where are the cups, he said we don’t do the cups anymore we do the boxes. We then asked for a meal deal with 2 popcorn and 1 sweets, he presented us with 3 popcorn and 2 boxes and a random drink. Confused we went over and started getting the food and this woman comes over and says stop what you are doing the boxes are not for the pick and mix sweets. We told her we had told the server this but he had insisted and she refuted it all without evening speaking to him. She told us to put the food down and she could refund us so we could leave. The rudeness was unbelievable, there were several ways the situation could have been sorted but she resorted to throwing us out instead of fixing her colleagues mistake. We were refunded for the food and the film and showed the door. We were in shock. My partner asked her what she would do with the sweets, she said she had to take them out the back because we had contaminated them. We worked out she waited for us to fill them up so the staff could eat the sweets and popcorn that was still sat on the counter. Contamination is a load of rubbish, you use one pair of tongs for every sweet no matter what allergens are present, this place doesn’t have a clue. If you’re going to lie to a customer to get free food at least come up with something sensible. After that experience we went to a different cinema of course not an odeon one and enjoyed film and a completely different level of service.

   I watched Wicked in ODEON yesterday. I had a great experience of sound, visuals, and comfortment. I was surrounded by these amazing songs. The screen was big, and the seats were comfortable. I really enjoyed my experience and I will visit this cinema next time!

   Easy, free parking. If you fancy a bite to eat before your film, there are plenty of places. I recommend Relentless. Staff at the Odeon are very helpful. You need to order your tickets online, or use the machines in the foyer, as there is no longer a ticket office.

   Great selection of movies, large seats, very comfortable lots of leg room. Good range of snacks and drinks, clean toilets, and free parking. The only downside was that we had to sit through 30 mins of adverts from the supposed movie start time. Went again today, and the heater wasn't working in screen 1, so we were offered a refund if it was too cold. However, it was fine, so we watched the whole movie, and what a nice touch on the customer service side.

   Good prices. Good disabled access, friendly staff. Could do with more comfortable seats. And loos nearer to the movie rooms. With 3hr films half the people watching the film popped out, and it was all the way back to the entrance for a pee. Will probably use again.

   We went to see Avatar in 3D which was a fantastic movie. Staff were very helpful and friendly which made our pre booked experience straight forward. My only criticism was that the seats were not particularly comfortable

   Ordered snacks online and had to click I'm here in order for them to prepare it so I wouldn't have to wait. Number was 1st on the board stating 'preparing'. Still ended up waiting almost 10 minutes as no one was taken the tickets but also not taking tickets in order of receipt, so people after me were being served before me. Good parking. I'm not sure but in cinemas I have been the dim side lights (on the wall) is off but these lights were on throughout the whole movie so it was not dark.
