   Called up because I could hear a funny noise when at high rpm’s, took it in and in a couple hours they took it out for a drive found the problem and fixed it for a fair price for what the problem was, didn’t made to feel stupid unlike other garages and they walked me through the process on how they fixed it, highly recommend

   Honest, knowledgeable, trustworthy and fair. Like a lot of women, I’ve been ripped off at garages a fair few times over the years. I’ve lived in Hull 10 years now, and I’ve finally found a reliable and honest mechanic, who will go the extra mile to help keep me on the road. The funny thing is, the garage is practically at the end of my street, but I had no idea it was there until a few weeks ago. Mike has done two repairs for me in the last few weeks. The first could have cost me hundreds (if not more) but he worked a miracle and fixed it for just £65. He kept me in the loop every step and made sure I was always happy with what he was doing. Today I had another issue. I need my car for work and as i’m self employed, I lose earnings if I can’t get to my jobs and feel really stressed about letting customers down. Break downs are my worst nightmare! I called Mike first thing, he told me to bring it in straight away and he fixed it within the day, for just £85. I really can’t thank him enough for the peace of mind it brings, knowing he’ll fix my car properly, and not try to rip me off. I hope I don’t need his services too often, but I will never take my car anywhere else.

   Charged me 250 for thermostat and oil change. I also noticed my heaters didnt work well after they had done the thermostat. 4 months later my car over heated and another garage told me it was due to a cheap thermostat that was of poor quality and that garage went on to repair it for £70 they were shocked when I showed the receipt costing me 255 from MGR and told me I had certainly been ripped off. The other garage advised me it would still be under warranty and to take it back to MGR but I as I no longer trust them I chose to pay £70 and get the other garage to do it at better quality. Please avoid this MGR if you don't have much knowledge about cars because they will take advantage of it and charge you double and more of what it should cost, oh and the parts they fit are cheap and may fail a few months down the line like mine did.
