   Struggled to get a straight price over the phone and unfortunately when I arrived, instead of using their hydraulic press, as discussed, to remove and reapply the ball joints, they opted to try hammer them out and hammer the new ones, I purchased, back in. I had to decline; this would have buckled the new joints, damaged the wishbone and necessitated welding the new joints in-place; to ensure they're safe, if used at all. Also, the short, old, grey haired guy who I dealt with, damaged my items when he threw them on the floor in a tantrum

   My car wouldn’t start outside of leisure centre. Called Merehead and they came out to take a look. Couldn’t start it so towed it back to the garage. Checked it over, and the car started when they tried it. Perhaps something magical happened during that tow! They REFUSED to take any money for their efforts, so I left some money for them anyway. Strongly recommended, I live in Hull but I know who will be getting my business in the future!!

   Merehead Garage are better than first class. Car broke down and within 5 minutes they were with me and got me started again. Then this morning they picked my car up at 0830 and it was back on my driveway repaired by 1000. Excellent service and not expensive. They have got themselves another customer couldn't be faulted in anyway. I can't praise the staff enough and thank you so much

   160 miles from home, 4 miles from our destination. A long-running saga comes to a head and we have a flat tyre; a spare (which it turns out was also leaking from the valve) but the wrong sized wheel nut. So now we're stuck. The guys from Merehead promptly came to our rescue though, some of the nicest people around, and went the extra mile and then some to make sure we were all sorted for our long bank-holiday weekend. Thank you so much, would recommend to locals and travellers - but with service this good I'd definitely recommend booking in advance, if possible.
