Vetinary nurse was great with my 17yr old cat.She had puncture wounds in her back. Oral antibiotics had failed and an abcess had formed and burst needing injected antibiotics.My cat is a timid thing but this nurse handled her superbly.
Always very happy with the service we get from Berry House Vets in both Shefford and Hitchin. They are caring and thorough, and I can usually get an appointment whenever I need one. I appreciate the VIP scheme and it's benefits - perfect if your cat needs prescription food or regular appointments for chronic health issues.

Dogs going into kennel so contacted Berry House enquiring about date for their next booster. Berry House emailed back giving a date after kennel visit. Once at kennel it becames clear this information was wrong. Kennel contacted Berry House who denied having contact with us. I forwarded email chain to kennel who agreed it was the vets at fault. Contemplating changing vets as this is not the only issue we've had.

My partner took our 9yr old rescue boarder collie here for a last minute, emergency eye check after being turned away from every other vet as we have only just got her/moved to the area. He was so delighted that they were able to fit her in even though she wasn't registered, the service from the staff was amazing, they were very friendly and polite and adapted to our needs, we didn't know how she would be as she's never been before and they were so kind to her! They made me feel so reassured and made her very calm and spoilt!!! - Thank you!
Excellent vets, friendly reception staff. I have had to use their emergency practice a couple of times and they have provided emergency slots immediately. The VIP service is well worth the money as the price of flea and worming tablet practically covers the cost. Highly recommend.
