10/10 experience today getting a battery for my TAG watch, brilliant price, service & turn around time. Note - price was 1/5th of another place I tired locally first
Disappointed with Sinclairs - my wife and I visited to enquire about getting her engagement and wedding ring resized. Staff were nice although it was busy. We were told it would take 3 weeks and they would polish / clean them as well. I asked how much this would cost and upon checking a chart the staff member told me around £45 per ring and it would take around 3 weeks to complete, this sounded reasonable to us at around £90-£100 in total. 3 weeks later my wife returns to pick up the rings and is told the price is £210 as they charge per size. I feel as though we were mislead as we would have never agreed to this price which to us seems extortionate and has left us in a tricky financial position until the end of the month. If you are considering getting jewellery amended at Sinclairs, please ensure you get the quote upfront, we will not be returning and would not recommend. The actual work done on the rings is to a high standard. Though I feel this experience was unfair as we were only told the high price after the work was done.
November 2024 I took a ring in to be re-sized. It was completed ahead of time and the end result is beautiful. It looks brand new rather than the 140+ years it has been in existence. Thank you Sinclairs, a great job. Update. January 2025 Had to take my ring back in as the diamond had fallen out. The setting had basically worn away over the decades I have had it. A new diamond and a brand new setting. I think it looks better now than ever. Thank you for a great job.

Daughter was there for her ear piercing, the most helpful friendly staff. Her anxiety was quickly put to rest. It was quick and left with a happy girl!
Supported local to buy a ring for a milestone birthday. It was tempting to go elsewhere as had a ring of a similar value (£250) which I’d over 20 years old and still going strong. Just less than 3 years on the ring has broken in half. I take it back thinking they will be mortified and replace it. No instead the manager is very rude says you can pay for it you wouldn’t take a car back to a garage so don’t expect that service here. What do you expect after this length of time. Very unhelpful and my family have spent thousands there over the last few years in wedding rings and expensive watches which they could see in the computer. I’d go for quality at some larger chains which offer real customer service. Instead of being left like me distraught a from family which was meant to be a lasting memory is no longer
In shopping with relatives as they were after a ring. Once all was happy it was onto the bistro for lunch. Good choice, friendly service, and reasonably priced. Pity we had no time for a cake though as they looked good, maybe next time.
I often get great gifts here. Everyone is so helpful if you're not quite sure what you want. Recently got my daughter's ears pierced here too. Great service. Highly recommend.
