We stopped at the cafe and our lunch was amazing. From delitious main to cake and coffee. It was DELITIOUS. Staff is lovely. Highly recommend to visit.

Went for lunch, it was great. Had a gammon roll and got two substantial slices on a tasty bun. Very tasty all round. Friendly, efficient, and hard working staff. The little play area was perfect for my three year old while we ordered and waited for food.

For several months, I have been trying to buy a specific garden item from Inverurie Garden Centre (to replace another which must have come from the garden centre originally), and the experience has been consistently disappointing. I emailed them directly in June with no reply to date, and on three separate visits, the most recent being this week, (purchasing additional items on each visit) I was told the person who deals with the plants wasn’t working - always the same excuse, with no alternative support, no clear information, and no follow-up. Even more concerning is the poor service from the staff on the tills. They are consistently rude and unwelcoming - no greeting when you enter, no warmth or friendliness when you pay, and barely any acknowledgement at all. Too often, staff seem more focused on chatting to each other behind the tills than on engaging with customers. The atmosphere is cold and transactional, which is the opposite of what you would expect from a local garden centre. Having worked in retail for many years and run my own retail business, I know how crucial staff training is. Simple things - a smile, a welcome, asking if you need help - are the foundations of good customer service. These are not ‘extras’ - they are essentials. Without proper training and leadership, staff are being left to provide a poor experience which directly drives customers away. It is a real shame, because the centre itself is good, and they stock a wide range of plants and gardening products. With genuine customer service, proper communication and the right staff training and management focus, they could be so much better. Businesses survive on reputation and repeat custom. Having read other recent reviews, it is clear that the service and standards are not improving quickly enough.

We have moved back to Scotland late March. Always liked this place. Restaurant since has been V disappointing. Food and Drink standard below average. Just today, our Food was less than appetising. Waste of money. Used to be great coming here. Cannot fault Machinery Dept etc.

Arrived at 15:00 to be told/ growled at that there was no more pancake “mix” and instead offered a small selection of cakes. Once chosen was hard and stale. Normally a great place to go but new staff appear to be letting the high standards slip.

Very limited menu. Unless you like the soup or hot plate special then your out of luck. Plus, the new idea of getting a seat before getting your food is ridiculous. Let's just leave personal belongings lying on an unattended table! No thanks

Good food but staff need to be aware that seats are being taken before food is purchased, a young mother and child taking up a table for six while people were waiting for tabels .!! You have to de on your watch while in the car park you could easily get a ticket for staying to long .we may not be back .

Very mediocre food in the restaurant, and completely overpriced. In the shop, I was unable to return a non-sale item with the receipt for a refund. They pointed to a poorly written returns policy on a piece of paper by the till; apparently it says credit note only unless item is faulty. Folks- why are you not allowing customers refunds? You need to tell us at the time of purpose, this isn’t good business.

Lunch was really lovely. Busy wee place. Lovey cakes. They are BIG! Great choice. Soup was lovely with two slice of brown bloomer. Gammon panini was lovely to. Nice slices of meat in it. Didn't look around the store much but the stuff looks lovely. Hopefully I will be back soon!
