   After 3 visits so far, I've got to say I'm very impressed with my service at St Andrews. From my very first emergency call (I think I spoke to a lady called Jo, but I might be wrong with the name), to the dentist himself, everyone has been brilliant with me. You can tell straight away that they believe strongly in customer care and they treat you as a person, rather than as an number. The dentist himself is a lovely chap. He takes time to explain things to you, even explained the x-ray which I had taken, and what the next step for me would be. There is usually a lady working alongside him as well who is lovely. She's very friendly and chatty, and puts you at ease as soon as you walk through the door. I'd recommend signing up to the monthly payment plan as well. It helps with the cost of dental treatment and it's really affordable, cheaper than I was expecting it to be. This dentist was recommended to me and what a recommendation it was. Honestly, they deserve more than the 5 stars I could give them. Great place and a great team!

   in 2018, in a private dentist's St Andrews Dental Care , I paid for a tooth repair. the filling of the tooth was incorrect and after a year the filling fell out, the tooth was also hidden. now I have terrible pain, which proves that the tooth was not cleaned as it should be before the filling and that caries continued to develop inside the tooth. after contacting the office, I was informed that I should look for another place of help because they have limitations due to COVID 19. In my opinion, if a doctor who undertakes treatment should also be responsible for incorrect treatment. had I been offered assistance under the guarantee, I would have had no problems, but the aid was denied, I have no choice but to exercise my rights. no responsibility for a bad job, no help for a client who needs immediate help. i don't recommend this place.

   I joined the practice in October to start treatment with the fast brace. Before the treatment I was lacking confidence to smile and embarrassed to visit the dentist. The whole team are friendly and really supportive. I have now finished the fast brace treatment, and I am so happy with the results and no longer ashamed to show the before photo. I would recommend this dentist to anyone and I will continue going to get dental treatment from them.

   As a fellow dental colleague, I would expect only the best treatment and I was not disappointed. From the time you enter the premises, the atmosphere is friendly, calm and the staff are amazing. Jo the hygienist is ever so charming and you put at complete ease with your favourite music and a back massage from the dental chair. Every aspect of oral hygiene and home maintenance is explained patiently. Joe the dentist is very gentle and a highly experienced and knowledgable practitioner with years of clinical experience. I would certainly recommend them for your dental care.

   Cannot speak more highly enough of the staff at St Andrews Dental Care Hull. I had neglected my teeth for a few years and shouldn't have been worried about my first appointment, from the start the staff looked after me and listed to my requirements before offering a suitable care package. Jo the hygienist was wonderful and being able to chose my choice of music/DVD to a having the option of a massage in chair ensured all my appointments were as relaxing as possible. I have just received my before and after photos and it really made me appreciate the work that has been done. I am now confident with my smile something that I have never been able to say before. I have and will continue to recommend the practice as it was originally recommended to me.

   If someone had told me that I would one day write a review about my experience at the dentist I would have laughed. I have awful memories of dental treatment from childhood until around 10 years ago when I last visited an NHS dentist and had a horrific root canal experience. About a year ago I decided to look up dentists who can help people with dental fear and anxiety in Hull. I found St Andrews. It took me another year to actually make the appointment and go in. I wish I had gone a year ago! I was extremely nervous at my initial appointment and was immediately put at ease by Samantha. When I met Joe he could see I was upset and anxious about my situation but was supportive and kind, always explaining and talking me through everything. He talked me though a plan to work on my various issues and suggested I needed to see Jo the hygienist first. My next appointment was with Jo and again it was vastly different from my previous experiences. Jo explained honestly what we could do to address my advanced gum disease. I was shocked at how bad it was but didn't feel the shame that previous dentists had made me feel. Jo showed me good self care techniques and talked me though the equipment she was using explaining before each process happened. It was such a positive experience I will no longer worry and fear my trips to the dentist. Dare I say it I am actually looking forward to it!
