My daughter had a tooth that had come away from the gum at the back but was still in tact at the front and sides. It was causing her pain so they offered her an appointment. They removed it without any sort of numbing resulting in her crying in pain and becoming very distressed.

My partner and I called this service after he had been suffering with a broken tooth at approximately 6:30 Friday 28th September. After going through the standard questions the lady advised she had no appointments in the area. I advised that we would be prepared to travel. The lady returned no suggestions. She did not ask how far we were prepared to travel! I then asked if it was possible she could give us an idea when appointments would become available as she had advised they were a live service and could only give appointments so many hours in advance. I advised we were going on holiday on Monday. She replied she was not able to predict the future. But we only wanted an idea of when to call back!I found her attitude to lack any kind of empathy or respect. I cannot comprehend how someone can be so unhelpful to another person suffering. N.B. This was the 111 service.

Went yesterday as an emergency. Had a fillings replaced, was still in pain but thought it would settle down. Wrong. Still in the same pain, seemed to put some filling in quick and get me out of the door. Looks like another hour ringing 111. Wouldn't recommend.

Absolutely shocking service. My partner has been messed around by them when he is in excruciating pain and unable to work. Never prescribed him antibiotics (had to pay another dentist for that) or classed him as urgent like they said they would and have now had the audacity to cancel his appointment tomorrow as they don't have any dentists in. What dentist doesn't have dentists and if that's the case why book people in on those days? How can you be urgent care if you don't care about the patients or do anything urgently.
