Had groupon voucher for colour couldn’t have had better service. Ben was welcoming, chatty & very informative of my hair condition. Colour is fabulous & so is the cut. Will be using this salon from now on. Thanks Ben

Similar to other reviews on here I found customer service in the Baker Street Retreat very poor and would give no stars had this been an option. My booking was cancelled at short notice due to staff availability however I'd organised my work/family commitments around this appointment. Tried to complain to the 'business owner' (Sarah) who was very rude and unhelpful ("not my problem") and wasn't even offered an apology! She really needs to learn customer service skills if she wants too keep customers. Not surprised they're having to offer deals on Groupon, however word of caution, don't buy a Groupon voucher for here as they don't honour they don't honour them. Unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. I will be going elsewhere.
Absolutely appalled by my experience. I had a Groupon voucher for a cut and colour. However, he refused to colour my hair as he didn't know what colours had been used on it in the past (absolute bollocks) and he has ruined my hair. He used a razor to cut it, has cut it 3 inches shorter than I asked and thinned it. I specifically said I want to be able to tie it back as I have a young baby and I can't because it's too short
Do not touch this hairdressers absolutely dreadful, had color this morning he chose the color. I can see the inch of roots I went in with some very pale color. When I said I did not like the color it looked nothing like color in the book. He told me my hair was so white and the hair in the book is synthetic he should have thought that before he colored it. He went on to cut my hair dry he took nothing off the top and did not even cut my fringe. He did offer to redo the color but I was in so much pain at the time, and it had been messed up once never again I only wish I had read the reviews before going..
If i could give this place a zero star I would. The worst customer services ever. I paid for a groupon offer and booked an appointment. 15 minutes before my appointment I received a call my Suzanne to tell me I had made a mistake and was late for my appointment no apolog at first. After explaining that I could not have made a mistake as just before my hair appointment I was at the hospital she still wouldn't budge on that it was my error. I suggested that I would wait and pop in later but to be told that she was fully booked, considering I was booked in for a full hair colour , cut and blow dry there must have been something she could have offered me. We went round in circles for a while before she put the phone down. When I called back I actually spoke to the hairdresser Laura who then suggested that my life is that bad and boring that I am making a big deal out of nothing. What Laura doesn't know is that I am disabled and was going out for a meal tonight, and because of my health problems I dont get out often and was so looking forward to getting my hair done ready to go out. How can any one feel they have any right to comment on someones life without knowing that person is shocking and totally unacceptable.. PLEASE AVOID AT EVERY COST PEOPLE LIKE THIS SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED NEAR THE PUBLIC !!!!!!!
