Pathetic joke. Within the past 2 weeks my grandmother has received 6 letter rescheduling an operations, offering a new appointment and cancelling. Arriving on the same day!!! How are we as family member ment to make arrangements such as transport and after care??? We can't book time off with the constant date changes Frankly the audacity that maternity and gyno have to waste tax payer money on this when the nhs is ment to be struggling is baffling

CASE No. 0924 Disregard to Patient Care and Time Management with reports of Negligence both within and out of their hospital. OAP care especially is very poor and has no kind of self understanding of what level of care is acceptable, with further reports of not keeping conversations and important documentation safe for the most severe of patients, such as those with Dementia. There are reports of poor Ambulance timing to incidences taking longer than expected by around 2 to 5 hours from the hospital itself to places like Freshwater and Ryde on both sides of the island. Seems to not communicate or care at all in bringing in the adequate care provided to all on the island being such a small unit that's not adequate to deal with modern day overloads on the island today. Caution is Advised in Visiting and finding the medical information for all types of care, especially with links to OAP care with severe medical conditions.

After spending a fair bit of time here, which lets face it, no one wants to, i have always found the people working to be rushed off there feet doing there best given what ever situation happens to fall on there lap at the time. People moan about the wait in a and e because of lack of beds, well id rather wait a bit of time and know they have fully investigated each and every problem that everyone has rather than rushing them out of the door. I wont want to and being on the iow i dont have a choice but neither the less il be going back when i need to.

I had day surgery yesterday I was greeted by Sam a very attentive nurse who relaxed me as I’ve never been to hospital for anything before. Sam settled me in ready for my biopsy , the porters were very calming then the staff doing the procedure were so professional and again kept me calm through the whole experience 10/10 to the staff.

All of the staff in the eye car department could not have been better today for my mum she was out at ease and all the staff made mum feel very comfortable and relaxed, SARAH deputy sister, LIAM & BEVERLEY on the ward could not have been more attentive. Thank you to all of you for taking such good care of my mum I really appreciate it.

The staff here are extremely helpful and pleasant. I have been here several times recently into different departments and always been treated with respect and consideration. I am a strong believer that you get back what you give, so if you are polite you will be treated politely back.

My Mum suffered a suspected stroke and was taken to St Mary’s for treatment where she received excellent care from the medical staff and a very professional service on June 7th. She sadly died from her condition before I could get there but the care, genuine empathy and concern for my Mum, and my brother who was on his own with her, was outstanding. The staff were absolutely brilliant and just so kind. I don’t remember all the names unfortunately but I do remember Hayley and a female vicar who were particularly brilliant. I just love the NHS - there when you need them and second to none. I wish you were paid what you’re worth and were properly funded so you didn’t have to work so hard. Thanks so much for all you did on that day; it is very much appreciated.

I have just undergone a total hip replacement. I want to thank everyone from the consultant downwards and that includes even the lovely tea ladies in Alverstone ward. The care in every way was genuine and sympathetic. No request was too big or small. What lovely people. If you are waiting for a procedure be assured you will be well looked after. With thanks and respect. Jackie Williams.
