Registered with the oaks and on the same day my wife managed to get an appointment for that afternoon after we had been having terrible service from vine medical. Dr was very good with her and spent a lot of time going through things and as she could not rule out a blood clot was advised to go to A&E for blood test and x ray which we did. Very good first impressions.

Called my normal surgery for appt as after the weekend offered me one here 7pm Friday. I was met by Chloe receptionist very welcoming and saw Dr Ghafoor Who examined me and arranged an Ambulance as what I thought was an urinary infection was something more serious ! Thank you both for taking good care for me. Still recovering..Thank you.

Reception staff are caring and very helpful. Accessibility good for wheelchair access, pharmacy directory beside surgery. Very handy. Car park can get very busy, 4 disabled bays.

Have been registered at this gp for years and have never had such appalling service than I have had today. Rude receptionist, asked to see a gp and not a nurse and was refused. Asked to make an appointment on a different day to see a GP and was refused. Asked to speak to the GP on the phone and was refused. What is the point in paying my taxes to then not be able to see a doctor. Shocking. This wasn’t even an appointment for me ether, it was for my 2 year old. Don’t visit this practice.

I couldn't see my normal GP and was sent to an out of hours one at this local center. I was very impressed with the calm and patience the doctor I saw had, and their care. Everyone from the staff at the reception, the nurse and the GP was very nice, polite and empathetic, nothing felt rushed, I felt listened to and they made me feel at ease! The layout may need a bit of TLC, but to me the staff and overall experience mattered the most. Thank you to everyone who works there!

When ring the number and dial 1 for emergency appointment automatically hang up the call and this is like that for the last 50 minutes. How can I get in touch with my GP when it’s an emergency? Two hours slot every day in the morning it’s not enough to get hold of my GP. I struggle every single day with headaches and pain. The only time my phone call would be answered is in the afternoon and the reception will tell me to call in between 8am-10am but during this time my phone calls are never answered. This place shouldn’t operate as a GP practice. You don’t know and don’t care how much I struggle daily!!!!!

This surgery has had times over the new year and January where there are zero doctors due to sickness. Wait time are 8-9am most days on the phone. I have had no success in being seen since last Summer and not has my toddler. We believe from other locals that other surgeries are less effected than oaks.

Awful service. Receptionist staff are extremely rude and unsympathetic. The staff don't take responsibility for their own mistakes or the practices mistakes resulting in delayed treatment. Their lack of online system means that when there is an issue, you cannot get in touch and speak to the right people to help fix it. The only way to get in touch is by phone and after you've waited an hour in their phone queue and been passed to various people, you then get hung up on and the only thing you can do is phone again. The issue isn't even a mistake on my part, it is theirs or their online system recording incorrect details and it is impossible for me to be able to get through to someone who cares and who has the ability to resolve it, and now because of their poorly trained receptionist staff, treatment has been non existent resulting in having to call 111 or visit A&E when this would have all been avoided. If you are unlucky enough to have any kind of technical issue with your details on their system then unfortunately nobody will care enough to be able to help as they are over run with patients and they cannot wait to kick you off their GP list.

Every time my family or I need an appointment urgently we get seen very promptly. Less pressing issues are resolved by a telephone consultation, I can't fault them. My children's issues have always been taken seriously, and treated with kindness and compassion.

I requested pain relief for ongoing problems, pain relief I have had before, to be told my request had been declined by 'the prescribing team' whoever they are!! I was then told to book a telephone consultation with my GP. She was not available on her day of consultations as she is the duty doctor on call. Told I would get a call from the physio dept. Never got a call , I have now had 2 telephone consultations with physics, still no pain relief. I have now been given a review consultation with another GP in 2 weeks time!!! Do I have to go crawling on my knees to get the help I am requesting? I can see a nurse face to face, why not my GP, oh yes, because she only works 2 days a week now
