   Specsavers is the only place I would recommend for purchasing spectacles. I am very impressed by the range of test equipment, the staff using the equipment and the fact that the latest kit is always being updated. I like the environment within the store and the range of specs on offer, at reasonable prices, with a good range to suit all budgets. I trust Specsavers Chichester, and that has been earned over years of custom. Please keep up the good work/good prices and I will carry on recommending. Well done Mr Saeed.

   My visit to Specsavers Chichester started well. The initial staff members and the optometrist were polite, professional, and explained my prescription clearly. Unfortunately, the experience changed after I decided not to purchase glasses and mentioned I would visit another store. At that point, the attitude became noticeably less friendly and more dismissive. It was disappointing to feel that the quality of service depended on making a purchase. Customer service should remain respectful regardless of buying decisions. Sadly, this affected my overall impression of the visit.

   Awesome fast service. Delightful optometrist who described all tests and was polite and had a very pleasant manner. Full eyetest done and as no difference to my previous prescription I chose to have my old damaged frame replaced keeping the old lenses. Same frame in stock and so all was sorted in less than an hour!

   During my initial visit, I felt like the lenses available were not explained to me, I tried to ask about different options for computer use/driving but didn’t get adequate explanation and was just told what I was having instead of offered a choice. I feel like the customer service assistant was pushy and repeatedly told me the various glasses I liked were too big or ugly for my face. Ultimately I did not buy what I liked or wanted as he was so aggressively pushy. I had intended to buy two pairs of glasses, they were both from the highest price range. Instead, due to the assistants pushy opinions, I ended up buying only one pair- the same exact black pair I already owned and from a much cheaper price range. When I actually wanted something colourful and fun. I also wanted a pair for driving but the experience was so miserable I just decided to get out of there quickly and get the same pair I have and no night glasses at all. I feel really unhappy and sad with my purchase. I certainly will not be going back to Specsavers. He also argued with me about my free eye test, saying i had to pay for it, despite another staff member telling me 20 minutes prior that it is free as I am on the lens mail scheme. When I returned to collect my glasses and have my contact lenses checked, I had an appointment booked for 12 and was not seen until gone 12.30. Overall, my experience in store was horrible and I left without getting what I wanted or intended to buy.

   Great service. Clean. Accessible in most areas but do mention before your appointment that you cannot do stairs as we discovered the exam rooms are down steps despite being told it was accessible on the phone. Staff do need some training re autism. For example don't touch a child without explaining you are about to and to explain exactly what you need them to do. The service was good and we got glasses back a week later. The assistant made sure they were totally comfortable and well fitting.
