   The best barbers I have ever been to. Jade has cut my hair for 2 years now and has never disappointed. Both Jade and Marcus listen to exactly what you want and never fail to deliver, the environment in the shop is amazing. 5 stars all around!

   Would have been OK just based on the cut, but it was so confrontational when I was trying to explain what I wanted. I've had the same cut for years and wanted somthing new. I had spent quite a bit of time researching different cuts and landed on one I liked. I watched hairdressing vids on how the cut was done. I looked up loads of photos and posts so I could show them what it looked like. It was somthing I've never tried and thought it would be a nice change. The lady that cut my hair then preceded to make me feel pretty stupid, with blunt comments about how she didn't know what it was so how could she do it? It's just a style not a cut. Now none of that is an issue. I've clearly not described it well. But why the tone? Why the condescending remarks from the bloke who spent the next 5 minutes telling about how that haircut doesn't really exisit. Telling me what I was actually asking for was this or that. I just wanted a friendly half hour getting my haircut. I'm really not confrontational so felt quite uncomfortable and very embarrassed. A bit of understanding would have gone a long way. Shame. I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.

   Absolutely fantastic service. It’s been really difficult taking my little 17 month old son for a haircut (so many tears) but both times we’ve been to J Gents both Marc and Jade have been absolutely amazing. They always put cartoons on for my little boy, talk to him throughout the haircut, Jade even played the guitar for him and shared her brush with him and not one single tear. Thank you both so much.

   Good haircut, nice friendly people, always welcoming. Missed them during lockdown but a recent visit put me right. I’d love to recommend them to everyone, however, I’d never get in if too many people went. No, really , a fantastic place for men of all ages to get a decent haircut
