Lovely clean room, airy, most comfortable nights stay. Probably the best bed we’ve slept in. Staff were amazing. Helpful and friendly. Christmas meal was nice. Only negative was our Turkey meal lacked colour. Very beige. Maybe add some broccoli and peas. Something to make the meal look more appealing. Apart from this we had a fantastic evening in the Brickwork and overnight stay. Would recommend and would definitely return.

I've stayed here several times, staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. The refurbishment has been brilliant, making the bar restaurant a lovely atmosphere with delicious food and a great selection of drinks including beer from a local brewery. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with very good showers and TVs that have casting options plus a spare HDMI plugin. Can't recommend here enough.

Perfect stay at Voco. From entering into the reception to the restaurant staff (Matthew & Maisie) couldn't do enough for me and the other customers. Rooms were very modern and adequately equipped which is reassuring for a weeks business stay. Food was incredible at The Brickwork restaurant with a great array of food. Will come again when the opportunity arises. Thanks to all the staff. Keep up the good work!

Stayed at this hotel for work. I have been here before when it was a Holiday Inn. The rooms have been upgraded and decorated throughout. The best part of my stay was definitely the staff, all are friendly and inviting. I must give a special shout out to Gracie and Sarah on reception who are a great dynamic duo on reception. Thank you all for making this a fantastic place to be.

Arrived back home after our 2 night stay at this hotel. Wow we can’t wait to go back, couldn’t fault it at all! Amazing staff(especially David) so friendly and made such a fuss of our 1 year old daughter, chocolates and kids pack on arrival which was such a lovely touch. Hotel is absolutely beautiful, so so clean and really nice rooms, we were told we were put in the quieter rooms due to having a baby which we thought was so lovely and thoughtful. Nice pool area, towels were given to us at the pool. Everyone and everything at the hotel was amazing. Normally when we stay away we can’t wait to be back in our own bed and and back in our own home but we didn’t want to leave and we want to go back already! I don’t normally leave reviews but for this hotel i definitely have to:) We will be back very soon. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

10 minutes off of the motorway and good links to either Southampton or Portsmouth. Room was clean and tidy and the lounge area/dining area was spotless and clean. Waiters and Waitresses were polite and helpful! Would definitely stay again! However, be prepared to spend a little extra for food, average main meal price is £19

Nice hotel friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Only fault is food is expensive but it is nice. Lovely pool and spa facilities free for residents staying over. Open from 630 till 10pm. Avoid during 4 to 6pm as kids lessons in pool. Nice steam and sauna rooms plus jacuzzi. Rates are expensive but in line with usual hiked ihg hotels.

Staff welcoming. Hotel rather tired in appearance. Evening meal excellent quality - all 4 meals of the same standard. Had a good night's sleep and would return. Excellent position for all Southampton & Portsmouth attractions.

Please hotel for an overnight stay with children. Central facilities and restaurant very good. Children eat free with adults at dinner made it good value, and there was a nice spread at breakfast. The pool is decent. Rooms were very clean, but some aspects were a little tired. Children were given little activity packs on arrival, as well as a voucher for milk and a cookie from the bar. The voucher seemed to confuse the person on the bar, but he found some biscuits after a while. Would happily stay again.

From the staff on the front desk who welcome you so warmly to the bar and restaurant staff who are so friendly what’s not to love. The bar area is airy and plenty of seating areas. The quality of food is great and a decent variety on the menu. The bedrooms are clean and the bed super comfortable. Always plenty of hot water and the shower is amazing. Plenty of free parking - provided you enter the car reg into the system at check in.
