I was treated very badly, I don't recommend them. They didn't finish the service and sent me away because they didn't have time. I went to Emily Nail salon, explained the situation and was very well received; they redid my gel manicure.
Had my nails done a week and 2 days ago (23/05/25) and this is what they look like today. Whilst the nail technician (who I believe is the owner of the shop) was prepping my nails she didn’t touch my cuticles. As she went to start applying the acrylic I asked her to do my cuticles and she said it would be an extra £10? I’ve had my nails done numerous amounts of times and have never had to pay extra for my cuticles to be pushed back and trimmed as it’s always been part of the nail prep. The shape of the nails and the way they lay also is not great. This was obviously not something I had noticed until actually looking at the nails once I had left the shop. The whole service felt very rushed and this is why I believe I was told that the cuticles would be an extra £10, which may I add would’ve took the price to £53!! Very unhappy with the service and product I received, and I definitely will not be returning which is a huge shame as had it been good I would’ve been a regular customer. I came to the shop based on previous reviews/pictures but I wouldn’t recommend this nail salon myself now.
Went for a pedicure and got my cuticle cut back so far it started bleeding. I appreciate it was an accident but then the man put my foot back in the water and carried on like nothing happened and didn't apologise, so then it started to sting in the water. I stopped the pedicure and walked out. The lady was lovely and apologised but unfortunately it was a bad experience for my first time there. I've had a toe infection from being cut in a pedicure before so hopefully this doesn't get infected.
Absolutely loved my first ever time having my nails done! Anna was so sweet and got what I wanted down to a T! Will definitely be back again! Thank you
Fabulous team and salon ! I’ve visited this salon many times in the past months and I have never had any issues with my nails. Anna is highly professional and super friendly , just as the rest of the team. The salon is always busy , and that tells me a lot ! :) Highly recommended place , thank you so much for making my nails always so beautiful x
Lovely welcoming place . I felt really comfy trough out my treatment . Awesome job on my nails . I cant stop looking at them . Would totally recommend x
She made my wife's nails... Such an unappealing service, nails have been made in a rush , didn't offer any cuticle removal or manicure, or even a nice treat after the nails are done. Overpriced for the value
My first visit to annas nails in ashby. Absolutely thrilled with the service. After a previous appalling experience at a neighbouring nail salon. Anna helped me choose a nice colour and design. I will definatly return
