   Placed 3 orders for porcelain paving all fine until the last order came with 2 badly damaged tiles all chips along the finished edge of the tiles. Spent over £1800 on paving and they refused to replace the damaged tiles. Just told me to grout over the chips or use them for cuts which I couldn’t do as it was the end of the job and I was using them for steps. Disappointed as I had already paid the 50 pound delivery twice so didn’t want to pay again for an order or 2 tiles. Disappointed customer

   3 damaged coping stones out of 20. They wont refund or send new ones. Think carefully before ordering as they take zero accountability for damaged item. Customer service team ignore your emails when challenged. I know they have there silly get out clause on their website for this so BEWARE this company!!!

   Awful experience! Understand there will be variation in colour, however if you cannot see that the sample is a completely different colour to the slabs delivered then you are colourblind. The description online states York stone is ‘brown, green & grey tones’ great that’s what the sample is and is what I ordered. The off yellow slabs that were delivered however is NOT what I ordered. Emailed the team to complain and they told me it’s ’variation of colour’ and if not happy then to return and sent me the return link which clearly states ‘needs to be unopened in originally packaging and pallet’ and ‘you will pay delivery fee’. How are we supposed to check the product is fit or purpose without taking packaging off and why should I pay delivery TWICE on something that is clearly your mistake. False advertising completely & no accountability. DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! Edit: part 2 - owner/Alex is refusing to deal with my complaint or look into the issue and wants me to ‘remove my review first’ - threatening and more Interested in a bad review then providing good service and correct product. Would avoid this company!!

   I do not recommend melton stone. Spent £1300 plus on porcelain slabs. Out of 117 slabs 6 were broken on the pallet. Spoken to them via email said no to replacing them and no to refunding me. Shocking really as you can imagine after spending all this money for them to not care. I just want others not to end up in my situation. Honestly can’t believe it. I will be sharing this on all platforms also blocked me on Facebook so people don’t see my honest review

   I had one Stone broken in the pallet pack, I emailed their team to advise and this is the response I got on email from Melton Stone. "Good Morning Jamie, Sorry to hear you have a damage, but unfortunately the insurance will not cover this as it is just one broken tile at of the whole pack. Kind regards, Melton Stone Damages Team" So if you are one stone short you need to buy another one, great service eh? After spending a lot of money for the pack, think very carefully about ordering from this company.

   Visited the showroom after seeing an ad online. We were not disappointed with the choice on display and left with several samples. Having made the decision to buy the Soapstone Coffee 1200 x 600 tiles. We needed a deferred delivery date which was not an issue. Alex and his team looked after us and were able to offer suggestions as to how best lay the tiles and avoid wastage. The day of delivery, the driver called to confirm an approximate time and was brilliant, delivering the tiles as close to the property as he could which proved so helpful reducing the distance to be carried. We have fitted the tiles ourselves using the Buzon Alurail system and are delighted with the result. Great product, great service. Would highly recommend Melton Stone.
