Lovely people... pleasant place and a happy pup! My dog was safe and sound here. I was confident my dog was ok and look after. Highly reccomended.
John and his team do an amazing job, our dog is an anxious chap but loves going to this kennels. He is well looked after and is returned to us in great shape. photos are put on the website and also sent to us via facebook so we can see how he is. It is very disappointing at present these kennels are shut, it is a great service and is sad that jobs have been lost. Hopefully the decision will be made to reopen what is a great place offering an amazing service.
I have been using Tynehill for about 9 years, usually about 3 times a year. I have recommended their service to other people as John and his team genuinely care about the dogs, and I have always felt totally relaxed leaving my dogs in their care. More importantly than me being impressed by them, my dogs are always excited to arrive on their ‘holiday’ too and happily run in which tells me all I need to know. A high quality service with a friendly atmosphere.
We have been using Tynehill for many years now. Staff very friendly and reassuring. They look after the dogs very well and we always feel safe leaving them in their care. My dog is always happy when he arrives and John and his team go above and beyond looking after him, especially since covid where he has become very clingy. This kennels is a real asset for dog owners and I hope that they continue being able to offer their service to us.
We have boarded our dogs with Tynehill for over fourteen years now. The kennels are scrupulously clean - they let you visit at any time to check. The dogs are always happy to be dropped off, and come back clean, healthy and look like they've been on a better holiday than you have! Highly recommended.
I have a reactive dog and struggled to leave him anywhere, until I came across Paul and his team at Tynehill. They are so caring, experienced and reassuring. My dog was really comfortable going in and loves it there. The anxiety I used to have when thinking of going away and leaving him has gone and I can go on holiday knowing my dog is happy and in good hands.
We first used Tynehill Boarding Kennels many years ago when John and his team looked after my Springer Spaniel, Bentley. We knew we could trust him with our current 3 dogs which consist of 2 terriers and a sausage dog. Each time they visit, they cannot wait to get out of the car and we can tell that they have a great time during their stay. They look happy and healthy when we collect them and this is due to the excellent care they receive in John and his teams care. We have no hesitation in recommending Tynehill Kennels as a place that will care for your dogs to the highest standards whilst you are away. The only point of note is that they operate a strict cash or cheque payment system. This means no debit or credit cards or bank transfers, but this really is a minor inconvenience given the high standards and quality of the kennels.
I hate leaving my dog behind when I go for a holiday but having a picture or two posted on their private website of my dog helped so much (added friends only see the pictures). When I picked up my dog she didn't come back skinny due to not eating or being unhappy so I knew she didn't have a bad time while I was away. The prices are very reasonable too !
