We have been bringing our children here since they were tiny tots and now our eldest is almost 18 and so we managed to squeeze one final Xmas Eve visit in with her as a family. It’s a lovely little farm park providing a great opportunity for children to learn about & interact with farm and other animals. With a couple of play parks too - it’s not a massive farm but certainly a good place to spend a couple of hours.

Great place :) My sister and I were going to Portsmouth for the day from London but on googling petting farms saw this was on the way so jumped off the train. We had great fun meeting all the animals and feeding them. The Llamas were very sweet, alpacas judged us for ages before coming for a snack which was hilarious, goats were all up for snacks, the jersey cow was beautiful and the first time we’ve met Darwin’s Rhea. Fab place, even in the rain :) Will definitely come back to see all the animals again.

Well avery pleasant couple of hours wandering around the farm - plenty of animals to look at (who are clearly wellcared for) and a reptile house too. All well decorated for Autumn and Halloween. Pleasant walk around the grounds, walled garden and greenhouse housing 'tropical' plants. An amazing waterly on the pond. There is a playground and inside play area for children. Nice cafe and farm shop. Only downside was the maze (not terribly impressed with that unfortunately). Nevertheless well worth a visit

My nephew loves it there, I think it could do with more interaction with the animals though. Also a wider range of food would be good in the cafe plus the shop is quite limited in its range.

It's a lovely bit of country park with gravel trails and paths. Dogs allowed off leads everywhere. The walled garden with friendly volunteers also has some good quality plants and veg for sale at reasonable prices. The cafe was surrounded by people with chainsaws so not accessible. The gravel paths are on the borderline of wheelchair accessible. Very bumpy for small wheeled chairs, had to reverse onto and off the grass in places. The car park is expensive but there's no other entry fee.

Great family day out. Been there two times now with young children to meet friends with other children. The kids absolutely love feeding and petting the animals. There is a large outside park with swings, slides and climbing frames and a fantastic indoor play area with slides and a climbing frame inside a barn. There is also a nice cafe that sells a good selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and hot food along with lots of cakes. There is also a little farm shop selling local and regional produce. The car park is pay and display however in the entrance to the farm there is a code that reduces or makes the parking free.

Good for young kids getting to learn about farm animals. It was a good experience with lots of animals available to see. Parking is a bit pricey but they said money is for good cause (the animals' welfare). If you wouldn't want to touch the animals like me (who has a little one I didn't want to expose to all sorts) don't bother to buy the £1 food for the animals from the gift shop. Overall lovely visit, I may visit again.

Great day out with the kids, I love that they can feed the animals and play and generally it’s easy to follow. They love the maze and the addition this time of face painting, I love the gardens and the tropical greenhouse so there’s something for everyone. They are only let down by their lack of dairy free options with regards to coffee, it comes out a machine and doesn’t allow for different milk choices. Last time we came there was a van which offered this and I was sad to see it closed up this time. The farm itself was great as always, informative and happy, greedy animals ready to make your day. We met the Guinea pigs and ferrets.

Spent good few hours here, a lot of the animals are pregnant so could only feed a small section but the two goats in the petting area had had enough food and gone off too bed!! Great little soft play and a good park. Nice to also be able to walk round the gardens and in the greenhouse.

The best petting farm in the area and a great place to take the kids, it's not the biggest but with the country park opposite you can easily spend a day here. There's plenty of places to have a picnic or there's an on site cafe which is lovely. There's also hand washing stations at almost every animal enclosure which is very useful.
