Large field mainly used for youth and adult football. Colony Youth Football home venue for games. Large waking area and Riverside path along the River Don, with excellent Parking, which can get busy during football season Aug-April particularly during the weekend.
lovely walk on a nice evening out with husband Kenny.watched the young boy's playing football then strolled with him along the river bank. I never knew it was there before.So can now do my million steps challenge alongside the river and enjoy it even more than last year as there will be no traffic to annoy me .
Lovely walk spoilt by not enough or at least one would do ,dog / bin actually on walkway! Spent money on tarmac path ,so put bins there too ,

Lovely walk along the water with my dog and a play on the playing field, just don't let him when football on or they won't have a ball. Haha.
For dog walkers you can walk along both sides of the river Don. On the Port Elphinstone side you can walk along the river and cut across the playing field for a short walk or for a longer walk go all the way along, up some steps and you end up in a wooded area that goes on for miles On the Inverurie side you can walk along and for a short walk cut back onto Knockhall road, cross the bridge and walk down or continue walking along the river bank for a longer walk.
If ur looking for complete relaxation, then this is most definitely recommended
