I went to Goldchem because my ear felt slightly blocked, I’d tried drops & wanted advice. I asked behind the counter & they said they could examine my ear. Maria was so friendly & explained exactly what she was doing every step of the way. I had wax build up so had microsuction done. It cost £20 but was well worth it. It was exceptional service
I visited Goldchem to discuss travel vaccinations for a trip to Thailand. A pharmacist, Maria was very helpful, clearly explaining all the options to me, checking my health and what medication I was taking to help me make an informed decision. She made me feel relaxed and confident in the decision I made, a great service.
We visited Goldchem as a family for travel vaccinations. Maria was excellent. She was very thorough, caring and helpful and she went above and beyond to sort out a couple of problems that arose - even phoning us with extra information after the appointment. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Perfect service! José is so knowledgeable. He has explained things to me that I have been told before. I get very nervous with vaccines and had to go through 3 different dosis of travel vaccines in 3 different weeks, so I have really appreciated his humane approach. I have felt very comfortable under his care. This is a walk-in service, which is ideal.
Frustrating when there's a long queue but let their friends/regulars skip to the front
Sometimes this place doesn’t know wether it’s on its ‘end’ or it’s elbow, wrong drugs given, running out of stock, asking surgeries for unasked for prescriptions. Needs a swift overhaul asap.
There really aren't enough stars to credit this pharmacy with. I have to visit regularly as my mum has dementia and has problems with meds. Nothing is too much bother and they don't seem to mind how many times you have to visit them. Keep up the good work, if only all chemist's were this good!!
Preface: I work here, but google insisted I leave a review. It is great though. We do a lot and the staff really are dedicated to looking after people. It's a lovely place to work and the people here are genuinely invested in what they do. Put it this way, how many pharmacies do you know that offer visa & passport services in addition to the standard travel vaccination services? The staff here will actively help you quit smoking, they'll help you cut down on your alcohol consumption. They will help you live a healthier lifestyle. Don't take my word for it though, come in and say hi. Make up your own mind.
We are astounded at what Charlie manages to do with passports and visas and are happy to see that he continues to meet his customers varied needs by their deadlines. Would recommend this service to anyone that is needing to travel urgently as he has saved many people the cost of losing a holiday! 10/10
