I asked Boots why lunchtime closing hours not shown on their website. They said “ Thanks for contacting us regarding the Timing of our store. I'm sorry to hear that the information displayed on our Store Locator. The store locator does show opening and closing times but we cannot have lunch timing update on the website as it depends on the store staff availability and their schedules.”
I can't agree with the more negative reviews. I've always found them personable and efficient. My repeat prescription is always ready on the day they text me. The only real negative (as others have pointed out!) is not putting their lunchtime closing hours on the website! Very annoying.
Rude patronizing staff treat you like a criminal for buying over the counter medication, think they must be on a pathetic power trip - sad individuals. Just use the many excellent online pharmacies and avoid running the gauntlet of jumped up no hopers over compensating for being bullied at school. EDIT following Boots disingenuous response: They claim to offer a great level of customer care, and it is very disappointing to hear that this wasn't the case for me......perhaps they should consult their reviews on Trustpilot, when they are rated "BAD" with a score of 1.7 out of 5 from over 10,000 reviews
Recommended a friend to go and writing on their behalf , the staff are amazing and go the extra mile, they advised and made experience such a good one. Huge shout out to Shapla, Emma x 2, Claire and the male pharmacist, they are a huge asset to Boots.
Used to be the best chemist but is the worst now,, as they have gone downhill.Text you your prescription ready, then when you go and arrange a lift to go and pick it up, tell you they don’t have it, as they’ve given it to someone else! They never have all my monthly prescriptions in stock and I always have to go back again.Pharmacist too busy to answer any queries about medication even though other chemists are happy to do this. Fed up with wasted trips there, as they are so disorganised so will be taking my custom elsewhere.
This is a terrible pharmacy , the shelves are never stocked , the queue is always out of the door and there is only ever one person serving regardless of the queue , there is a lot of staff behind the screens chatting but never serve the customers , I have waited in there for 40 minutes on quite a few occasions , never get a an apology for the wait , also shuts everyday for an hours lunch And not open on a Saturday which in todays world is unheard of , steer clear
Awful pharmacy. Repeatedly loses prescriptions. Apparently a weekly repeat is to difficult to do which leads to going without my medication. Delays in filling prescriptions when they do actually decide to do it. But any mistake is always someone else's fault
I Transferred from Tower house surgery a few years back as it was the worst surgery I have used so far. I had the unfortunate experience of having no choice but to order some urgent private medications from here. Was told the medication would be in on a certain day, got to certain day and nothing had been ordered as they neglected to tell me that i need to give a paper copy even though it was checked and ok’d online when phone call was made to order. I went to pharmacy to drop the prescription and was told that they had the medication in. I asked if it had been delivered that morning and was told no, we’ve had this for a while now! Luckily I got the meds I needed but I’ve had to suffer for days and could have had it the day I called. Will never use again! Do not use if you need urgent medication.
