We've visited this place several times over the past years and always been pleased. It's easy accessibility and parking make this an ideal place for those with mobility issues and families alike. Lots of interesting craft items for sale ie glass, pictures, ceramics etc. The museum part is interesting as they have the items that were used to make the ropery and when you see the entire length of the building it gives you an idea of just how much effort was put into making these ropes. You can still even smell the ropes that were made there just by entering that section. The cafe as always is brilliant. The tables aren't crammed in like some places so you can hear your conversation and not the tables around you. The place is spotlessly clean, staff friendly and helpful as well as extremely patient with those that forget their table numbers or what they needed to order. Food is extremely good and not expensive. My husband can voucher for their ploughman's lunch which was almost too much for him which really makes a change. The salad bar looked amazing too. Will we go again is the question? Absolutely we will. Rating out of 10, I'll give 12 as it's such a pleasant atmosphere and serves good food.

Love attending events at Ropery Hall. Great intimate venue and friendly staff. If you have time visit the Ropery Museum, Garden, Exhibitions and a lovely cafe during the day. Enjoy evening gigs in the hall, great bar with a good choice of craft bottled and draft beers. We often stay in the Imaginarium in Barton for gigs so we can imbibe the bar offerings without having to worry about driving home. Highly recommended.

Fabulous night out at the Ropery Hall Barton on Humber Pizza and Garlic Bread in the bar. Before heading into the hall for an evening in the company of excellence, "Iago Banet" from Santiago, Galicia, Spain, with stories of growing up in Spain. Sheer brilliance on the accoustic Guitar, he gave us a night to remember, many thanks to the organisers!

Ropery Hall is a small theatre at the end of the old historic rope walk building. It hosts a variety of live music and theatre events throughout the year. There is a bar open before the start of the show and during the interval. The rope walk is an excellent place to visit. There's an art gallery shop cafe and a sculpture garden. The interesting museum shows how ropes were made and the history of this unique building. There's lots of free parking. I highly recommended a visit.

Watched Tom Davis there tonight and had a great time. Great little bar and venue to watch comedy.

Ropery Hall is a unique building as it is part of the original Ropewalk. Nowadays its a fully functioning music theatre. There is an outstanding selection of local beers in the bar within the reception. I didn't take any notice of the wine, spirits and sweets as i was mesmerised by the beer display. The bar is only open at the beginning interval and end of the show. Wandering about during the gig wasn't encourage. The Ropery Hall has had a steady flow of musicians and has a good poser display that immediately caused nostalgia and sentiment. I saw Eleanor McEvoy there, the sound was superb and this is mostly due to the accompanying sound engineer and Eleanor's incredible musicianship.

Just had a great evening's entertainment here. 12 Silk Handkerchiefs was entertaining and very interesting. Lovely "cosy" venue with an incredibly well stocked bar. Thanks to my friends for taking me along

Splendid venue! Great performance space and the bar is amazing! (Huge range, and biggest low alcohol offering I've encountered!)

Small, intimate venue with a great feel, and warm and welcoming staff. Local to us and we’ve seen a real eclectic mix of artists perform here from Ghost story readings tonight to Nick Heyward playing our 80’s memories with the odd movie night in between. Set in what was the rope works and adjacent to the art gallery and excellent cafe. Enjoy real ale at a great price and/or sample an interval ice cream. A Great escape from the binge watch media of today whilst supporting a great local venue.
