   Recently attended a wedding here and the manager had a bad attitude from the start. I honestly don't know what her problem was, and she shouldn't be in a people facing role with how she speaks to people. I wouldn't recommend having a function here at all purely because of how she treated guests.

   We went for a charity event. Which was held in the large room. Which can be hired for birthdays, weddings and other events.There are various rooms. Therr are also rugby clubs based here. I know they have children and ladies' teams. A good car park with wide bays. They had a good range of beers, spirits, and soft drinks. They also had bar meals. The staff were friendly and helpful. A good place to visit

   Shocking they have no idea to arrange a wedding we cancelled we had Bev and rich dealing with us they said one thing which we was happy with but as soon as new manager took over paying over the odds and went back on words still owe me money but that’s getting sorted my end

   We had my grandfathers wake here where we had a small function room and buffet. The food was exceptional and presented really well. Great variety from different sandwiches to scotch eggs, pizza and pork pies. Service was great and a private bar and toilets included within the room. The room was included within the price per head for the food. Also we added a tea and coffee station which stayed hot for the entire time. I would highly recommend this place for any event.

   Really nice warm welcoming bar. Friendly staff. Dont serve ales just one creamfow. Hence 4 star. Plenty of lager choice. Will certainly return again

   Had my wedding reception here and they staff was rude right from the beginning (not all) we was only allowed the small room because the other one was booked which is fair enough. But when we set up on the Saturday we was told the other room was avaible by one person and not from another. We asked for some tables for the food and was told no what was in there was all we was allowed. We booked the room till 12 and the bell was getting rung at half 9 told the dj was coming at 6pm but when she showed at 7 that's the time she was booked from. Got told at half 9pm that we had to pack away that night. Which was never mentioned before hand. We heard the bar staff have a conversation about about trying to clear us off as soon as possible. When we was packing away the staff was trying to throw away our suff that we had Brought and had to be stopped a few times. Would definitely not come back here
