   Extremely dissatisfied with the service received on a simple matter. Numerous errors made throughout the process, when I emailed to explain and raise my concerns & give PCB chance to rectify this, it was met with borderline arrogance and no time was taken to understand the nature of the concern. Would not recommend and will not be using again on any further matters.

   We were buying a property from a vendor represented by PCB. Within days of us having our offer accepter, PCB submitted an update to the title deed with Land Registry because a huge portion of the garden was contested. They didn't disclose any of this information either our solicitors or the estate agent, leaving us to find out weeks later why nothing was progressing with our purchase. We had to call Land Registry directly to find out that the application i) required a 15 working day public notice, and ii) that somebody had responded to this notice to object. PCB intentionally continued to conceal this information from us and the estate agent. When the estate agent called this afternoon to push for more information, they were told the solicitor "had left the office early for the day". Meanwhile, they have neither responded to Land Registry nor informed anybody involved in the sale. We offered asking price and explicitly said we expected an expedited purchase as both we and the seller had no chain. A month later, nothing has happened to progress the sale and now this objection is most likely going to drag out for weeks if not months. Our position now is that we are either reducing our offer because of the time wasted by these solicitors and their underhanded behaviour in concealing information, or pulling out of the purchase all together. And the seller will have PCB to blame.

   Charlotte Pinsent was recommended to me by a friend who was also a legal professional but in a different field. As with any experience of family law, it can be daunting and stressful. Charlotte has been superb at putting my mind at ease, explaining things in a manner that’s professional whilst lessening the legal jargon and responding at short notice. Not only that but it has been nice to be advised re the financial side of things. Legal proceedings are expensive but necessary and it’s comforting to have outlined the different options on where best to spend your money for the biggest difference in outcome. 10/10 recommend.
