   Cannot praise Bramsdon & Childs enough for our recent house purchase. We used Vicki Paine and Chloe Haggis. It wasn't an easy purchase by any means with 2 properties falling through till finally at the 3rd property it went through.    My review score has gone down considerably because I feel the quality of service is not what it was when I did my last Will and Testament with them several years ago. Basically, my mum passed away in March 2023 and I used them again to put her estate through Probate. This was achieved within 16 weeks, which is quite impressive. Sadly, things have not been great since. The solicitor emailed me in December 2023 to inform me that the DWP were investigating me because there was a pension credits issue to do with my mum's bank account when mum died. I phoned the DWP and ranted that as an executor, I had already dispensed funds to the relevant beneficiaries, so was unhappy that they have taken several months to contact me. They told me they had contacted the solicitor 3 times between September and December 2023 and only received a response on the 3rd occasion, around the time the solicitor contacted me. As I'm sure you can appreciate, when a loved one dies and you have to do arrange a funeral, do a lot of the Probate legwork yourself to save time and money, you just really want an end to all of this. So to be told there is an investigation by the DWP 4 months after you've transferred someone's inheritance isn't exactly ideal. I should point out I do think the DWP should have contacted me in September 2023, when they contacted my solicitor, but only the DWP and the solicitor know why they didn't. In April 2024, I started an ascent on my property to get the deeds to my house. I was asked to pay the bill in October the same year and I paid immediately. I learned from Land Registry that they did not file this until 6th May 2025 and because of a backlog the earliest I can receive the deeds is 25th September 2025, although they doubt this will happen. Although I don't expect these things to be done immediately, I don't think it is right for this application to take 8 months after I have paid my bill. Also, in light of the fact that I'm applying for the deeds to be changed into my name because of my mum's passing, they could have been a bit more sensitive.

   Worked with Hannah on my property purchase and sale which involved a chain. She was by far the best solicitor on the chain. She was recommended by my broker who highlighted Hannah's attentiveness and communication. Hannah was outstanding in her communication throughout the process, always available for a call even after office hours. I had a very difficult buyer for my property and Hannah used her skills to navigate a difficult process. I even used her to pay off my health to buy mortgage for which she didn't charge me anything extra. Cannot recommend Hannah enough and will surely use her form in the future.

After a bad experience with our previous solicitors, the agency from which we were buying the house recommended us to work with them and we couldn't be more pleased. They took us on board straight away when we were through the process already and from the beginning they did an amazing job. We dealt with Ben and he did a great job keeping us informed, chasing the sellers solicitors and making it happen and fit our deadlines. Top service from them.    We used Bramsdon & Childs as our choice of solicitors to sell our family home. I cannot praise/recommend them enough. All of the office staff who assisted with calls were great but in particular chap called Ben (our Paralegal). From start to finish he has been incredible and the proactiveness, accuracy and service provided has been outstanding. We feel really lucky that we had Ben throughout our process, that at times (from the buyer's side) were delays and issues but they were dealt with swiftly and resolved with advice and guidance throughout. We were updated constantly via telephone and email, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We managed to complete when we had planned which was great news for everyone. I would not use any other solicitors moving forward and will be a returning customer when the services will be required. You are very lucky to have Ben within your company, he is an asset and great investment. I am a retail manager myself and a good judge of character, this is one young man you should always look after. Thank you everyone at Bramson and Childs and I look forward talking to you all again.    We had Jade Parrett-Harris as our solicitor for buying our first home. Couldn’t recommend her enough! Very helpful throughout the whole process and considering the sellers and his solicitors were a complete nightmare she went above and beyond to ensure the transition was as smooth as possible for myself and my partner. We had constant updates regarding the process and no matter how small of an update, we were contacted right away! There was never a moment where we didn’t know what was happening. Would highly Recommend and use again!
