   Emily was great with our puppy. It was his first grooming experience and we struggled to get him away, he was adamant on staying for the fun. Emily was very welcoming and clearly loves working with the dogs. She answered all questions we had. She also gave us plenty of notice for picking him up. Completely recommend Emily. Overall, from the start it was great, even down to communication about booking in. We will be taking Jasper back.

   I cannot recommend Emily and Thompson Tails Dog Grooming enough. My dog is difficult to groom and Emily always cuts him perfectly. Also, we’ve just started using her teeth cleaning services and the results are amazing!! If you’re not including this as part of your groom then I would recommend adding it on.

   We've been using Emily for about a year and while the grooms mostly looked okay, we've always felt a reluctant customer for a few reasons. Communication from Emily is poor and generally unfriendly. Sometimes she will take days to respond to messages. In one instance she didn't turn up for an appointment until 15 minutes late. Sometimes, she'll chase us via message to collect our dog, even though it's before the agreed time. I've never enjoyed dropping him at a back alley doorway and never seen the salon but always overlooked this. In hindsight I wish I hadn't. Our most recent experience, we were unable to collect our dog on time, It was 30 minutes, admittedly high but we had an unforeseen circumstance, and it's unusual for us. I expected some give and take after our length of time as customers and the fact that she's been late for us too. Emily opted straight for "fining" us, cited ts and cs that she had never sent a copy of (but produced a pdf that didn't have my signature saying I'd signed it) and then advised me that she isn't actually insured for this scenario. It was the straw that broke the camels back for us as customers and I raised this with her, querying why she was charging for something she isn't insured for. Emily wouldn't answer this question and also skipped over the fact she'd ever been late. It seems bizarre for the sake of £10, but it kind of ties in with the rest of the "backdoor" experience. It's a shame, because our dog always looked okay but perhaps on the customer experience side we were spoiled by our old groomers who were so friendly and communicative but sadly, are too far away now. Edit to add: my review is honest but you haven't taken the feedback onboard at all (you've argued every point). I also spoke to my husband and he advised he was never given the opportunity to look through the salon.
